Okay, so it did finally happen.
Lloyd and I have finally traveled to somewhere
that we do not want to leave.
It happened completely unexpectedly,
but we're really excited to show you guys
why we've chosen here.

Okay, we have a pretty big announcement to make,
which is probably the biggest change we've made
on this channel since we started it two years ago.
But before we get to that,
we're gonna take you for a quick ride through Hua Hin
to what is apparently the best viewpoint in the area.
And also, if you've been watching our channel for a while,
we're actually going to be reuniting with someone
who has been featured on our channel.
Lots of you guys have asked about him,
if he's coming back to be featured on it.
So stick around until the end of the video
if you wanna see who that is.
I think I like ice in mine.
Lloyd and I have been drinking AG1 first thing
in the morning while we've been fasting every day
for the past few weeks,
and it's seriously been a game changer.
Some of the positive effects that we've noticed
have been huge.
We have been sort of practicing fasting in the morning
for the past while,
and we find it a really easy way
to sort of leverage ourselves into the day,
not be too hungry,
but still get everything that our body needs
first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
If you haven't heard of AG1,
it's a daily foundational nutritional supplement
that supports whole body health.
Every scoop of AG1 contains vitamins and minerals
optimized to support whole body health,
including the gut, brain, and immune system.
It's pretty simple.
As you saw, you pretty much just scoop and shake.
And we actually like to add AG1's vitamin D3
and K2 drops as well,
which supports the cardiovascular system
by encouraging healthy circulation.
I've personally found my gut health
has improved significantly.
Like, you guys know I've had crazy foods
while we've been traveling
and all the stress that we've put on our bodies,
and it seriously has helped me get back
to a regular homeostasis with my body.
And that's because AG1 uses adaptogens and B vitamins
to support sustained energy,
concentration, and mental performance
without the caffeine crash you get from coffee.
And what's probably really surprising
is the delicious taste of AG1.
I find myself craving it in the morning.
They use naturally extracted essences
from pineapple core and vanilla beans,
and never use added sugar or artificial sweeteners.
So if you're interested in improving your overall health
like we are, then try AG1 for yourself.
We can't recommend it enough.
Simply use our unique link in the description
to get a free one-year supply of vitamin D3 and K2
and five AG1 travel packs with your first purchase.
Thank you so much, AG1, for sponsoring this video,
and thank you guys for supporting us.
All right, let's head to the viewpoint.
Night.
Drama.
It is.
Drama.
I never feel not on edge.
Look at him, look how many snacks he has.
The monkeys are wild.
They're just too human-like.
Unpredictable. Wow this guy's huge. I think they're pretty scared of us.
Are we safe? We're safe right? We're safe.
Wow we have this whole viewpoint to ourselves today which is amazing.
I'll just leave this here and I'll go get it.
Wow I knew there was going to be monkeys here but I wasn't expecting there to be that many.
There's about a hundred monkeys.
They still intimidate me a little bit just with their canine teeth.
Even though I don't think they eat meat, I'm not sure.
I'm assuming most of them have rabies.
Oi! Get off me. Get out of there.
Wow that was close. I left my phone in the scooter and I came back.
There's literally two monkeys on the scooter.
Looking like they were going through our little front pocket there.
Probably was about to grab my phone honestly.
Imagine getting my phone stolen by a monkey. Man I would be pissed.
I just got back to the scooter to grab my phone and there was two monkeys on it.
Oh I think they're eating the seat.
No, it looked like they were trying to get the phone out of a little pocket.
Hello darling. Hi.
Unfortunately it's pretty overcast today so the visibility isn't great.
But this is pretty much a viewpoint of the entire Hua Hin which is pretty cool.
It's a shame we can't see it too well today though.
Okay so it did finally happen.
Lloyd and I have finally travelled to somewhere that we do not want to leave.
It happened completely unexpectedly.
We're really excited to show you guys why we've chosen here in Hua Hin.
So as many of you probably know already we did originally plan to move to Bali as digital nomads.
And for a few reasons that didn't really end up happening.
We ended up travelling around and being digital nomads on the road full time for the last two years.
Pretty much staying in places for no more than one week at a time living out of a suitcase.
We did try moving to Mexico and we got an apartment there and stayed there for a while.
But again there was a few reasons why that wasn't the right move for us.
There's a few reasons mainly because Mexico is not exactly the safest place to live.
And we didn't exactly feel 100% comfortable while we were there the whole time.
Even though Mexico has some amazing things to offer.
And then we decided to give van life or RV life a go for a while.
Which honestly was really fun even though it was really challenging.
But for work it really didn't make any sense for us.
We found it way too hard like we couldn't find internet in most of the places we were.
We spent most of our time just trying to figure out where to stay.
And kind of like we're in survival mode which was fun.
But from a work perspective really wasn't sustainable for us at all.
So yeah van life was probably one of the most fun times for us but also one of the most challenging.
So we kind of had to redirect our focus after that.
And the goal for this channel since we started was to show people that you can live your life on your own terms.
If you want to travel full time you can do that.
If you want to give up the 9 to 5 lifestyle it's possible.
If you want to make money online and travel you can do that as well.
But also a big priority for us and our lifestyle is being happy and focusing on our health and well-being.
So although we enjoyed the entire journey and every moment of it.
We've sort of just hit a point where we realized that living out of the suitcase full time just wasn't sustainable for us anymore.
For a number of different reasons.
But mostly because yes we need to focus more on our mental and our physical health.
And that's a huge challenge when you're living out of a suitcase.
And don't get us wrong at all.
Full time travel living out of a suitcase at the beginning is one of the most fun and exciting things you can do.
And I think everybody should do it for at least a year of their life.
But you do hit a point where there's just certain things that you have to give up.
And after a couple of years we decided we didn't want to give up those things anymore.
We also had a couple of projects that we wanted to start working on that just wasn't really realistic.
While living out of a suitcase full time as backpackers.
Oh this viewpoint is way nicer.
No monkeys either.
So when we recently came back to Thailand we were kind of exploring the idea of making this a home base.
But we just weren't really sure where the right place was.
That was until we stumbled upon Hua Hin.
Which was a place that we had never heard of before.
It was completely random.
I first heard from someone that I just sat next to on the plane about Hua Hin.
And then it just kept popping up.
So we decided to come and experience it.
And we weren't too wowed the first couple days that we came into town.
It was a cool town. We found it quite quiet.
But then we started doing a bit more exploring.
We were like wow this place pretty much has everything that we want.
We'll do a full video on why we decided on Thailand.
As opposed to every other country that we visited.
With the intention of maybe moving there.
But that will be in a future video so make sure you subscribe.
We were sort of weighing up Bangkok.
It's an amazing city but could we live there full time?
Me originally being from a small town and big cities being sort of overwhelming.
I did love our time there but I felt like it was lacking the relaxing side of things.
Koh Samui and Koh Phangan are amazing as well.
But we find that we feel a little bit too isolated on islands.
Even though we love the beach life.
But that's just our preference.
Phuket and Krabi while they are amazing and there are some incredible places there.
Beautiful beaches, cool vibes.
They're just a little bit too touristy for us.
And Chiang Mai although beautiful it just doesn't have the ocean there.
We love being near the water.
We need to be near the water.
So that sort of just left one place that we decided on.
And that's how we landed on Hua Hin.
If you haven't seen our old Hua Hin video yet you can go back and check it out now.
We'll link it above.
We haven't even scratched the surface on what this city has to offer.
I can't believe that we found this great of a hidden gem to call our home.
We even found our dream villa to rent which feels absolutely incredible.
After living out of a suitcase and not owning anything for so long
having somewhere to call home is pretty incredible.
And of course this does not mean that we are quitting travel content.
I hope you guys understand that we just need somewhere to rest and rejuvenate
when we are not working on this and making these videos for you guys.
We are still obsessed with travel but we really think that balance is super important
so we can be the best versions of ourselves
and actually show up for our business the way that it needs.
So again in a future video we will get a little bit deeper
into why we chose Hua Hin over everywhere else.
But just a brief overview.
The yoga here is great.
The Jiu Jitsu here is great for Lloyd.
There is a great gym for him here as well.
It is not a party place per se
but there are nice restaurants and places for you to go out.
The locals are very blended in
and everyone sort of mix and mingles together
with the tourists and people from expats, people from all over
which I really love.
I hate when it is separate and you don't get to experience
what it is actually like to live like a local.
So that is a huge aspect for us.
And it is close to Bangkok so we really needed to be
obviously close to an airport for our work
and for what we do so we can keep travelling.
And how close it is to Bangkok makes that so easy.
There is a train, you can take a bus or even a private car.
Super easy to get there.
And I guess last would just be that it is affordable.
We can actually afford the lifestyle that we are comfortable with
and still be able to do the things that we love doing as well
without compromising or sacrificing anything.
And that I guess brings us to our last reason
why we thought we needed a home base.
And I think he is probably up from his nap
so we will head home and either introduce you
or reintroduce you to this special part of our channel.
Do you reckon the monkeys have eaten our seat?
I don't know. I don't know.
They are all over it.
In one of our last videos, last time we were in Hua Hin
a monkey ate our scooter seat.
It actually wasn't that expensive to get it replaced from the rental place
so if it does happen to you, don't stress too much.
I think it was like $20, wasn't it? Canadian?
Yeah.
So like $15 or something like that, US.
Nah, looks like we are all good.
Okay.
Hang on, he is done.
Oh no.
Monkey?
No, no. I don't know.
I know. That's monkey.
Hi.
Hi there. Say hello to the vlog.
Welcome back.
Yeah.
There he is.
Are you going to share?
Say hello.
Say hello YouTube.
So as you can see, we managed to get Bear over here.
This is sort of one of the biggest reasons why we have been looking for a place to call a home
this whole time is so we had somewhere that Bear could stay.
Giving him up for adoption was just never an option for us.
Some people suggested that.
I don't know how anybody can raise a puppy and then give it up.
That would be such a hard thing to do.
He is part of our family.
He has been totally fine since he got here.
He has adapted really well.
He has been swimming in the pool.
And we have just ordered a side cart for our scooter
so we are going to be able to take him to the beach every day
which he is going to love.
But we will go into full detail on the whole process of how we got him over here.
We used a company called Pet Adventures.
They were really great.
They sorted everything out for us, all the logistics
so we didn't really have to do anything on our end.
And it was perfect.
There is a bit of a misconception as to whether or not you can bring a dog to Asia and to Thailand.
I think a lot of people think it is not possible and it is not a dog friendly place.
Having travelled through Southeast Asia
Thailand is actually pretty good as far as being dog friendly.
So we wanted to show you guys that this is possible.
So we will have a full video on that coming out soon.
So Bear just spent the last six months in Canada with my friend Chelsea.
Shout out to Chelsea at Shuswap Pet Resort.
Bear was so happy there.
He came back looking absolutely so healthy.
He came back looking super healthy and very happy.
She did all the handover process for us and I just can't recommend her enough.
Bear was so happy there and she treated him like he was her own.
So if you are in BC or in Canada, I highly recommend checking her out.
Just for peace of mind and to know that your dog is going to be looked after
in the same way that you look after them.
Right? Yeah.
Okay well that is it. So Bear is part of our channel again.
We have a home.
We might do a full villa tour on another video.
But I think we will leave it for now.
Thanks for watching as always.
Please if you enjoy this content, remember to like and subscribe.
And we will see you in the next video.
Bye.
