I love all the multi-sensory, not just tactile, but multi-sensory art.
We have works in sound and smell and even taste.
When I touch a painting, if I'm ever allowed to touch a painting, I'm usually very surprised if
it feels like anything but paper or canvas. So feeling these puff paint and ceramic is just
amazing. The trees and the water and the leaves, I have to figure out what they would feel like.
All these different textures are my idea of what life would feel like if you can't see.
Everybody should get to enjoy art and so this is a great way for people of different abilities to
be able to experience art and maybe one of the only opportunities for that.
This is a rare, much needed, I think, type of thing for blind individuals,
especially totally blind, who maybe never got a chance to walk through an art gallery.
