Alexei Popyrin v Ego Humbert Highlights | Australia v France Davis Cup 2024 Finals Group Stage

I could talk about it but I'm not sure what it feels like. Done it again, I mean we're only into the second service game of Popper and we have seen a highlights reel of those returns already. It's a perfect point and it's been a perfect start Just forehand and in terms of ranking, two evenly matched players, the first six games as anything but. Fantastic tennis there, the return again setting him up. Oh wow again, I can't tell you how hard that shot is. There aren't too many that redirect the ball better off the backhand than Humbert. Oh action from Humbert, I think he liked that one. I think his team did as well. There's a forehand error and Humbert gets exactly what he wanted. That is a magnificent performance, two stunning sets of tennis from Hugo Humbert. Popper outplayed, absolute joy to watch that performance. Hubert congratulates Humbert, Paul-Henri Mathieu will embrace his number one player and he has absolutely delivered for France. Two proud Davis Cup nations and they will go to the doubles to decide it, exactly what we wanted.
