We are in it now!! Astrology Forecast, September 9-15, 2024

Hello, welcome back to Madrona's Pulse Teachings. I am Iris J and I'm going to talk about the astrology forecast for the week ahead. I hope that you're doing well. We are getting pulled into our first eclipse which is on September 17th slash 18th depending upon where you are. So I am going to talk about the astrology from the 9th to the 15th. I don't know about you, I need my cheat sheet here for dates because it has been a whirlwind. I didn't say this in my last video but if you're new to my channel you'll see that I am not in my usual setting with the nice evergreens in the window behind me. That's because I spend part of the year in my kind of rural life and now I'm in my urban rhythms. I'm clearly still adapting because I sat down to make this video and I thought to myself, no I think it'd be nice to talk with them outside on my deck and my deck is in BC so that's where I'm at. It's a whirlwind. I hope that you are doing well though and we have a pretty dynamic week ahead. Okay so I mean on the one hand we already know it's a dynamic week because we're in eclipse season and eclipse season is a dynamic season. It is bringing up stuff, it is changing, it is karmic, it is internal and external, it can be very small internal shifts, it can be very large internal shifts, external shifts, it brings stuff up. Okay I have two videos on the eclipse season and then one on the Pisces lunar eclipse which we're kind of, this week is really pulling us towards that because again I'm going to talk from the 9th to the 15th so then this is gonna, this week is gonna end and we'll have those kind of two days really pulling us into the next lunation which will be that full moon which will be the partial lunar eclipse with the super moon. So what's pulling us into there and it is a dynamic week so first thing is that we start this week off with the sun coming out of its exact opposition with Saturn. Okay so Saturn is retrograde in Pisces and the sun is moving through Virgo and so you know the sun is separating from Saturn but you could still be feeling as we start this week off you know that kind of Saturn message which potentially is a push and pull on our energy, on our drive, on things coming up around needing to shed or needing to even reroute ourselves a little bit and the way that we're negotiating those kind of bigger conversations with a planet like Saturn and yet what's going to happen, this is a Jupiter week, what's going to happen is as the sun comes out of that opposition with Saturn it comes into a square with Jupiter. Okay so that's going to be building this whole week but it's going to be exact on September 20th and that is going to be with Jupiter in Gemini at 20 degrees and the sun in Virgo at 20 degrees and that is going to be a square and so there it's you know it's interesting because the sun is coming out of that conversation with Saturn, moves into this square with Jupiter and then it's going to move into its opposition with the moon for the full moon which is also going to be in opposition with Neptune and eventually move in also to a trine with Pluto. Okay so there's a lot of conversations going on with that transiting sun with you know what we're feeling come up in our identity and our vitality right now and as that sun is talking to Jupiter ultimately this is wanting expansion. Okay ultimately this is wanting and this is important because that Jupiter potentially had a bit of a time in parts of August when Mercury was retrograde. Mercury is not only direct but Mercury is moving into Virgo this week as we start and it is going to move out of its shadow so by the time that we have the sun squaring Jupiter Mercury will be out of its kind of retrograde shadow and there will be movement of our ideas of our understanding of our insights. Now with the full moon eclipse some of that movement might come to a bit of a standstill and we might need to actually surrender to kind of other states of knowing of being again great for art practices, dream work, all of that kind of Neptunian, Piscean realms but before we get there the sun is square Jupiter and Mercury is moving with that on the 12th of September it'll be out of its shadow it'll be at five degrees of Virgo and so that's when we might have a little bit more clarity around our path and this Jupiter says yes there is more clarity let's do this let's go big right and then we go into the eclipse and we might forget some of those ideas and if that happens to you it's totally okay don't worry they're not forgotten they're going to come back up in a new form because Pisces has things to say to us but really leaning into what you're feeling also it is a square there could be a bit of push and pull there between what you're what feels like it wants to expand in our lives and our sun has just come out of talking with Saturn are we ready for it does it make sense is it realistic these are some Virgo questions that sun wants to ask and Jupiter there especially with now that Mercury is direct it kind of just wants to say yes it is and yet Mercury is direct in Virgo and also wants to kind of know well how is it going to work and given that we are moving through eclipse season lean into the ideas lean into the inspiration lean into the to the Jupiter if it's there if you're getting big ideas about expansion for you and again wherever this happens in our chart is of course going to clarify lean into it knowing that it's probably going to shift it's probably going to change because that's what eclipse season is for and let's remember that Pluto is retrograde and in Capricorn so there's a lot of shifts and endings and new beginnings going on but leaning into that Jupiter energy because then after this the sun moves on with its square with Jupiter this week we come into Venus talking with Jupiter and this is a lovely trine so Venus is in Libra Venus has been in Libra and we have had quite a bit and there's been a lot of folks commenting both here on YouTube and also in Patreon about some tensions and one-on-one dynamics coming up there's been quite a lot of that going on we're having an eclipse with the south node in Libra so that's kind of to be expected and now however you know we've got black moon Lilith there we've got Juno there we've got Venus so we have a lot of kind of questions potentially coming up around how we ourselves want to show up with integrity and relationship and then what does integrity for the relationship look like and of course that north node is there in Aries saying and make sure your needs are getting met and Venus now is going to okay and so this will also be building this week but this will be the 15th is when it will be exact but especially from the 13th through the 15th this energy is very powerful it's at 20 degrees that Jupiter 20 degrees of Gemini Venus at 20 degrees of Libra so this is air energy so this is also wanting to support the expansion of especially if your values have been under review if you have been really looking at what's important for you what brings your own sense of life and self and relationships into a harmony that is really nurturing and bringing beauty into your life Jupiter wants to expand that with ideas it's also really bountiful creative energy and just feeling that welcoming it it's divine feminine energy streaming through because it's also merging of course with divine masculine energy because of the signs that we're talking about with Gemini and Libra so there's a potential for balance expansion and and seeing where that is is wanting to fill you up this week and as that happens Venus then moves directly into an opposition with Chiron okay so yes we have the expansive energy wanting for balance wanting for values in our lives also going into our projects and our ideas and then Venus moves into an exact opposition with Chiron who is in Aries still technically in its trine with Jupiter so also knowing there's opportunity for healing and this is all going on right before we come into our eclipse so really seeing if you're feeling that kind of creative abundance if you're feeling you know the divine feminine energy wanting to stream through you can also be actively mindfully directing that to your own healing and here to your sense of self you know and this is also Venus could be in a little bit of a push and pull with that Chiron because that Chiron is in Aries and it wants to heal our sacred sense of self and it's on a journey that was opened up very in a big way with our eclipse in April and then in December Chiron's going to go back to that eclipse point cycles and layers cycles and layers and so we're on a journey there and something might come up this week around you know the balance between again what it's like for my own values in a relationship and how I really need to feed my own needs my own desires and my sacred primal fire and yet there's supportive energy here with us for that also this week Mars squares the nodes of the moon the nodes of the moon are very active because they're coming into the eclipse and that's what makes an eclipse and so Mars is going to square them from the 12th through the 15th okay that and then it's going to keep going on into next week but we're going to start feeling it especially around the 12th and so here again dynamic energy you know this this Mars is in Cancer so Mars and Cancer I love Mars and Cancer because Mars and Cancer is supporting us to come into active self-care active nourishment active love active attention to our own inner world in our feelings things that most often because we are conditioned to simply perform and accomplish and have a yang yang yang drive that Mars gets a reworking in Cancer and we get to turn some of that focus where it needs to be into our inner world into our emotions and also into what's nurturing for us and then the questions around what is nurturing for us could come up this week again in that play between self and other Aries and Libra my own needs and how I show up in relationship also just what other relationships might be demanding of us and we might not be able to meet that right now and that might be some of the self-care and that might be some of how Mars needs to be directed towards self-care honoring our own emotions this is not energy to kind of take on a stoic stance and just push our way through eclipse season is not really for that and especially with Mars and Cancer square those nodes with Venus trining Jupiter with the sun having come out of that opposition with Saturn this is not time to kind of play that I push my emotions down I just grin it and bear it and go through I get I can feel my shoulders go like this even as I just say that oh the me of my 20s thought that was what we were supposed to do no and Mars and Cancer says no Mars squares the nodes right before an eclipse and even you know taking us into that eclipse next week says absolutely not there's something here to turn the gaze inward and come into softness actively active rest might even be necessary during this time eclipses especially if you have this landing in personal placements angles for yourself and your natal chart it can require rest it can also be kind of sporadic energy it could be like okay I have all this energy and then I need to rest all of a sudden and really honoring the body especially with our sun in Virgo honoring the body is essential and honoring the body becomes a path into hearing and working and witnessing the divine mystery the divine truths that are wanting to stream through because we are talking about a Pisces full moon eclipse and also Pallas Athena okay so if you recall last week Pallas Athena was finishing a journey in Scorpio and she was talking she was talking to all the outer planets because the outer planets are all talking to each other and I'm going to talk about that and Pallas Athena was opposite Uranus okay and now she's moved out of Scorpio and she's in Sagittarius and she still is talking to the outer planets and yet she's moved on so it's not as exact as it was and she is going to be talking to Sedna this week so Pallas Athena is going to be in Sagittarius which she in Sagittarius is actually lovely lovely uh fierce seeker energy fierce you know it's like the light gets turned on around what inspires us what do we want to learn what do we want to bring into our life what do we want to take a course in what do we maybe want to teach even what do we want to write that book about what do we want to do that video about um it's it's fierce seeker energy it's a fierce fire that is deeply passionate and she's opposite Sedna okay so Sedna I will actually link a video on Sedna below in case in case she's new to you but she's very very far away okay like we tend to think of Pluto as our kind of farthest planet dwarf planet that we work with Sedna is very very far away she is a galactic energy and she is recently come into Gemini okay and she's been talking with Pluto and they're in a very big conversation I'm going to make a video just on that conversation because it's with us for a while but Sedna is ultimately about incredible transformation transformation that comes from archetypal wounds and she's talking to Athena and Sagittarius and you know archetypal wounding typically shows up as as trauma definitely early childhood trauma very significant what in a clinical world is is referred to as complex trauma and archetypal woundings meanings that it's something that resonates in a way that fits into this kind of deep energetic pattern and the stories can be different but the emotional landscapes that psyche opens up through the journeys of these types of wounds are deep they're karmic and they are incredibly transformative as we move through and we release and we come into claiming an empowerment that's always been seated within us and yet it's through that journey of the wisdom of trauma that we really come through it okay and it's it's you know her story is very important you know she's the Inuit goddess of the ocean and again I'll link the video below but to abbreviated story is she ends up coming to her death through through her father she was originally a woman who just did not fit into the mold of the gender role that she was expected to play in her community and eventually needs to marry doesn't want to marry eventually does and leaves and then her father comes to take her home and there's a storm on the sea and she ends up kind of gripping the side of the boat and her her father to save himself cuts her hands off and she falls into the ocean of course and as she falls and as she falls back into the water she transforms and she becomes the goddess of the ocean and her digits become the the great creatures of the sea the whales and all of the wisdom that whales have and in the piece about Sedna though is a lot of times in astrology she kind of gets just talked about in terms of betrayal and that's that's her archetypal wound but she's about the depths of self and transformation that that wound actually becomes an alchemizing agent and catalyst for her to transcend and that power was already seated within her and it is the story of archetypal journeys in which we come into very difficult experiences and we do survive and we transform and we literally become different versions of ourselves and so Sedna's active this week because she is so far away it's only when a planet is or asteroid in this case is speaking very directly to her with a very small orb that that kind of resonance comes through and then it speaks through that planet and so it's speaking through Athena who's just been on a mighty journey of really opening us to the alchemizing depths in Scorpio and now we get that seeker spirit that wants to be part of our own transformation that wants to be part of healing those archetypal wounds that wants to say this life is not about what happened it is not about the past it is about the survivor spirit in you that is able to go on and build and transform the life that you want for yourself now I feel like I say this all the time but I don't think it can be emphasized enough not the version of us five years ago or 15 years ago especially in this context but wherever we are right now okay and that is where the seeker spirit what do you want to learn about what are you passionate about what were you maybe not ready to learn about five months ago but you're ready to start learning about it now the outer planets are really supporting that journey of learning something that wants to transform you whether it is learning something that you've always kind of just dipped your fingers in like astrology or it's something totally different and you're kind of yes I want to take that course or I just want to learn more about it and I want to do a deep dive on youtube whatever it is if that is with you do the deep dive because there's healing there and that is just really powerful energy this week okay and the and I also do just want to mention the outer planets again because we have this incredible conversation cosmic conversation going on in that Uranus and Pluto are sextiling Neptune and they're trining each other okay now that Pluto is at 29 degrees of Capricorn Uranus is around 27 degrees of Taurus and that configuration this is getting into a little bit of astrology aspects and it's okay if you don't know what I'm talking about does not matter is going to form what we call a kite during this eclipse and that's going to be with that sun who's moving towards the 25 degree point of um Virgo for the eclipse on the 17th and so you know this energy with Pallas talking to Sedna who's that galactic energy is also resonating with this outer planet conversation which is really transformative and it is something that is beyond the ordinary plane of existence it is beyond um you know that kind of simplified worker be idea of whatever it is that we're taught get the degree get the job get the partner get the house get the white picket fence if that's what they still say get the retirement fund it's it's it's it's not that it is everything beyond that it is what we come here and most of us that are children that know that that that that little linear plan isn't what we come here for and we come with gifts and we come with creative gifts and you know a lot of us are just not brought into the types of environments able to support that creativity that spiritual gifts and a lot of us get taught get taught to shut that down whether it comes through the school system or from home or from the complicated combination of so many different intersecting realities um you know we get taught to either shut that down we get taught to perform in a certain way and every sign has its different way of performing and that usually gets consolidated with fear in the sign and the outer planets right now are saying to that small child if that was you that knew there was something bigger that knew there was something different that knew you know even if we did that kind of linear trajectory for 10 20 30 40 50 years it doesn't matter how long because it's right now um or we never did it and life has been a bit of a but right now the outer planets are singing this cosmic song and it is not a song it's a symphony and it's talking with us and it's talking during this eclipse and and you know we're present with it now and so really just listening to it and it's talking to your soul song it is talking and calling you and you could be getting called into a new vision you could be getting called into a new dream it doesn't even matter if you fulfilled your old dream or whatever was kind of driving your life there could be something new that is opening up and if that in you might not even know what it is yet and that is totally okay you do not need to know or maybe you do know and you're like i'm doing it either way we're going into eclipse season and the energy wants us to take a step back and sit with spirit for a little while it's a very potent time to meditate to turn into those practices that help you turn off the ego mind a little bit and just open up to what's present and so those outer planets and we're and we're moving into that okay this week and then it brings us right into our solar our lunar partial lunar eclipse first one then our solar eclipse on october 2nd okay so it's a dynamic week and leaning into it um listening for you know journaling with that soul call and just seeing what emerges and also radical rest mars and cancers talking to the nodes radical rest and honoring yourself and what you need and trusting that your relationships if and when they honor you honor that you might need to take time for yourself and that that's okay okay sending love and blessings and i'll see you soon be well
