New MG HS 2025 - FULL REVIEW (exterior, interior, specs) 1.5 LUXURY

Hello guys, welcome back to the channel. Today we are at the Automobile Basel taking a look at the new MG HS. This is the premier here in Switzerland and as you can see we have the beautiful model in front of us. This is the new generation model, the all-new look. Now on the front you can see a more pronounced grille, the new MG design language looking gorgeous and really distinctive look on the road. Now we have also the very nice and slim LED headlights and they are connected with this part emphasizing the width of the car. The car is actually wider and longer than the predecessor but the height is reduced by around 30 millimeters so we have more dynamic look. I really love the shape of the bonnet here. Of course this is the MG badge here in the middle and overall I think very nice and elegant styling. Tell me in the comments what are your thoughts and before we move on to the side let me show you the specs. So this car has got luxury trim and 125 kilowatts that's the power output of this car and 275 newton meters of torque. You can pause the video here to see all the details. Now let me move on to the side of the car. There we go and actually as I already mentioned it is a bit longer than the predecessor. Also the length is different depending on whether you go for the petrol or the plug-in hybrid. More about the powertrains a bit later on. Now here we have the beautiful 19 inch wheels 225 55 R19 and you see also the diamond cut finish. I think they really suit the car especially with those gloss black wheel arches and also you can see you can see these side skirts in gloss black. Really amazing design in my opinion. Tell me in the comments what are your thoughts. We have shorter overhangs now and the longer wheelbase compared to the predecessor and now we move on to the rear of the car and look at the lighting signature the x shape here and then the indicators are here and overall I think they really did a great job. What are your thoughts? Very pronounced bumper here and this is your rear view camera the sensors and again gloss black details on the lower section of the bumper. If I press this the electric tailgate opens and here we are greeted with even more room than on the predecessor. Some tools here for repair of the tire and yeah you have the net to put smaller things and you can also pull this so you have the maximum privacy for your things. In here press this the tailgate closes and yeah really amazing design and now let me show you the interior of the car. So here we have it beautiful modern interior with the dual screen layout 12 12.3 inch screens and the materials are so good as you can see beautiful seats. Let me show you here also the lovely stitching and of course the switches for the windows and the mirrors. Also look at this the shape is so nice and actually a lot of room here in the door pocket and now we are ready to see it from driver's perspective. Starting with a wider angle you can see the new steering wheel feels very nice in hand and then the dual screen layout like the one big screen at 12.3 inch one each and the air vents that are nicely incorporated and then here you have the same pattern to emphasize the width of the cockpit of this whole dashboard. Now let me change the view and show you more details. All right so this is the new steering wheel we do have the physical buttons in here which is always nice to see digital cockpit and then the main touch screen you do have some buttons in here lovely design of the air vents and again here very nice pattern and they are nicely integrated into this cockpit. Press this you open the glove compartment which is actually pretty decent in size and here you have the adjustable cup holders 12 volt power supply usb ports and this is the gear selector for the automatic transmission so the 7-speed dct or the 6-speed manual are available on the petrol unit more about the power chains in a moment. Some buttons in here and then as you can see throughout the cabin really a lot of room and I really love the materials here inside the car and the amount of room here is really impressive. So again we have the wheelbase that is longer compared to the predecessor and here you also have the air vents you can also spot the usb ports let me just move the camera. All right now you can see them and in the middle the armrest with the cup holders that are also here adjustable so that is nice and a thumb up from me and also the situation for my head plenty of room still left I'm 1 meter 87 so this is really good and comfortable. And now let's talk about the power chain options for the UMG HS. So there are two options either the petrol unit that we have here you can pair it with the 6-speed manual or the 7-speed dct other option is the plug-in hybrid that combines the 1.5 liter petrol unit and electric motor and has also the 24.7 kilowatt hour battery giving you an all electric range of 120 kilometers.
