This Tierra del Fuego Travel Documentary is the first part of a Documentary Series called „The Pioneers of Patagona“. Patagonia, a land of breathtaking remoteness and vibrant history, remains one of the last great frontiers on Earth. Having explored this region on several occassions before, I'm drawn back to uncover its hidden tales. This time, my journey dives deep into its historical background and the ancient paths used by indigenous tribes.
Therefore my plan was to visit a number of different destinations to showcase the diversity of Patagonia to the best of my ability. I'll be starting my journey in Punta Arenas where I explain the history behind the Strait of Magellan before I continue to Tierra del Fuego and Isla Navarino. While preparing for my solo hike on Isla Navarino I discover the history of the Yagan people before tackling the world's southernmost trek.
In order to show you the whole diversity of Patagonia this whole series focuses on lesser known destinations alongside with the famous hotspots.
You can use this Tierra del Fuego Documentary to plan your own trip to Isla Navarino, on my website you’ll find all essential information needed.
