这首音乐讲述了一个神奇的故事。作曲家陷入沉思之中，一系列的画面出现在他的眼前。那是一个几乎被世人遗忘的强大古代帝国——波斯。作曲家立刻感觉自己就在其中一张照片中。
作曲家徜徉在繁华的街道上，欣赏宏伟的建筑和风景，欣赏男女华丽的服饰，欣赏少男少女的舞姿，完全沉浸在帝国的风光和民俗之中。
他转身，进入了另一幅画面，一位美丽的女神侧躺在蓝宝石湖边。女神那双清澈如蓝宝石的眼睛静静地注视着蔚蓝的湖水。
突然，作曲家进入了另一个场景：威严的阅兵式，威武的武士、壮马、巨象，都身披金甲。
当作曲家回到现实时，古代波斯的壮丽画卷仍浮现在他的脑海中。
This piece of music depicts a miraculous story. The composer was in meditation, and a series of pictures appeared in front of his eyes. It was a powerful ancient empire that was almost forgotten by the world—Persia. Immediately, the composer felt that he was in the one of the pictures.
The composer roams the bustling streets, enjoys the magnificent buildings and scenic spots, appreciates the gorgeous costumes of men and women, and the dancing postures of boys and girls—immersing himself totally in the scenery and folk customs of the empire.
He turned and entered into another picture, where a beautiful goddess was lying on her side by a sapphire lake. The goddess's eyes as clear as sapphire were quietly watching the blue lake.
Suddenly, the composer entered another scene: a majestic military parade with mighty warriors, strong horses, and giant elephants, all dressed in golden armor.
When the composer returns to reality, the magnificent picture of ancient Persia still appears in his mind.
