(Laliga 2024/2025): Highlights LAS PALMAS - REAL MADRID

Joining them in the front line today is Brahim Diath. We'll look at the full starting line-up shortly, but one notable name in it is Brahim. Getting his reward for a strong appearance off the bench against Valladolid. An assist, a goal, rewarded with a place in the starting line-up. Now here's McBurnie turning to face up Rüdiger. Good pass, Molero into the area, and he's scored! It is Alberto Molero! Inside five minutes, with a fine finish into the far corner, and Las Palmas are in dreamland. Great initial work by McBurnie. It's going to be Valverde! What a save by Sillason. And a scramble in the area before eventually it's hacked away by McBurnie. But Sillason, who must have seen that late, one of the worst sights in football for a defender. Kylian Mbappé on the run, the shot deflected into the arms of Sillason. Rüdiger, he's trying to make it happen, and what a save by Sillason. That looked destined for the bottom left corner, especially the way it bounced just in front of him. Does just reach Vini this time. Rodrigo in the middle. Vini wants to take it on himself, and it's on target, but close enough to Sillason that he's been since he came on. But he'll try to change that now as he jinks into the area. He opens up for a shot. The defence just stood off him, but again, it was too close to Sillason. Nadero with a lovely flick for Kylian Mbappé. McBurnie making a run. Can he get there? It's Sandro, and he sends it over the bar. It probably wasn't that one. It wasn't that one, and the technique was wrong. Mbappé fires it in. It's going to be Vini on the rebound. Well, now they're starting to look dangerous. It's isolated play rather than... Mbappé with another puck shot that was blocked, and now it's Tremigny looking for Lucas Vazquez into the six-yard box. Vini miscues. There's a handball appeal, and the referee points to the spot after the initial shot from Vini was diverted. Goalwards, I think it was Alex. He's up against Jasper Sillason, and he scores again. And it was a really good finish from Vini Jr. Sillason went the right way. Full-stretch dive, but there was just enough height on the finish to lift it above him, and they are back on the... Mbappé turning, riding a challenge, driving inside and into the side netting. McKenna was just risking a little. I think I heard you whisper penalty. Oh, penalty. Free kick, clipped in by Forster, headed down by Matta, and it's going to fall for the finish, but it's been ruled out, has it? Offside is the decision. They're better players, and they're more of the ball and stuff like that, but it was a poor Real Madrid performance, and the fact they only scored from the penalty spot tells you what type of evening it has been for Real Madrid. It didn't create enough...
