Nicole Kidman announced the passing of her beloved mother, Janelle Ann Kidman. The news arrived just hours before she was honored with Best Actress for her role in Babygirl at the Venice Film Festival, which concluded on Saturday. The actress, 57, left Venice to return to Sydney and be with her family. Director Halina Reijn accepted the award on her behalf, reading a statement: “Today I arrived in Venice to find out shortly after, that my beautiful, brave mother Janelle Ann Kidman has just passed.
