We need to get a few things so let's go to Target.
I don't know if you guys know this but I leave for Switzerland in two days
and I have to start prepping and start packing and everything so I need to come to Target to
get a few goodies like toiletries and like lotion and like shampoo and conditioner and all of that
stuff. First thing I need to get is deodorant. I ran out of my deodorant so we need to see
Which one I like? Oh this one smells good. I think I've used this one before, the purple one.
So I'm gonna go with this Dove dry spray in the pink bottle. I don't really know what the scent
is but it smells good. Now we gotta get some lotion. Pomegranate, raspberry, or vanilla
catnip. I love both but I'm gonna do this one. Now we need to look for some greens so we can
take them with us. I see them! Bloom Greens and Superfoods. So we have strawberry, kiwi,
berry, and also mango in a variety pack. I think I'm gonna go with strawberry kiwi
because this flavor is really good. I don't need body wash but Native came out with new scents
vanilla and cactus flower. This one smells really good. Desert grass and sandalwood and then also
sage and sweet citrus. This one's definitely my favorite. This is what the basket is looking like
but I think this is everything that I need so let's go check out. Just got out of Target so
I thought I would give you guys a haul. First thing that I got is the EO's 24 moisture body lotion.
I love this stuff. It lasts such a long time. I got vanilla cashmere because it smells so good
and I officially ran out and I needed some lotion for Switzerland. Then I got this two pack toothbrush
little kit because I needed to replace my old toothbrush and I got pink this time. So those
are a few things that I got. I have more but last but not least I got the Bloom Greens and Superfood
in the flavor strawberry kiwi and I absolutely love this stuff. I love taking it daily and this
is definitely going to save me when I go to Switzerland. I know for a fact that my stomach
is definitely going to blow. This helps with gut health. It boosts energy which I'm going to need
because Switzerland is six hours ahead and I know I'm going to be so jet lagged and taking this daily
is definitely going to help with that. And you guys know I have a lot of stomach issues especially
when it comes to just eating food in general and taking this every single day has really helped
with that and I needed to stock up on this because I need it for Switzerland so this is for sure
coming with us. So that's mostly everything I got. I'll give you like a bigger haul tomorrow when I
actually start packing today. I just really needed to go to Target and I'm also going to get my nails
done if I can find like a nail salon that will do them because these puppies need a little manicure
because they look really bad. I'm gonna go get my nails done and then I think that's everything
that I'm gonna get done today and then tomorrow officially start packing.
Laundry is finally finished so now we can start packing our suitcase.
Oh boy. Let the packing games begin. This side of my suitcase is going to be shoes, toiletries, and just
like random things and then this side is mostly just going to be my clothes. For the past I would
say two weeks I have been just buying things left and right of everything that I need for Switzerland
and I have just been keeping it under my chair and just stockpiling all of it. So let me show you
what I have so far. Big bottle of dry shampoo, spray deodorant, band-aids, little container of hair gel,
I bought a baby loofah, full container of vitamins, sunscreen, lotion, pack of cotton rounds, a beanie,
I bought this 32 ounce water bottle, bought these bottles from TJ Maxx. I filled them up with
cleanser, shampoo, and conditioner, and body wash. I bought an adapter for the outlets. I also bought a
converter for the voltage, hairspray, box of tampons because unfortunately I'm gonna be on my period
during the trip. Very mad about it. Makeup wipes. I bought this lock for my suitcase. My mom found
this hiking book bag in the closet so I'm gonna use this. I bought this hanging organizer for all
of my toiletries to hopefully save me some room in my suitcase. A mini hairbrush, another pack of
makeup wipes gonna go in my carry-on, a mini perfume bottle, a North Face jacket for me, and a North Face
jacket for Katie. As you guys know, I used to live in Indiana and it gets pretty cold during the winter
so we actually had these in our closet which saved us a lot of money because it's gonna be a little
chilly in Switzerland. That's everything that was under my chair. Some of the stuff I did buy, some
of the stuff I already had here. We actually made a packing list which is so convenient so now we can
just go off of this full list and hopefully we won't forget anything. So I think the first thing
that we're gonna start packing is my toiletries. I have most of my stuff out that I need to pack
in here so I just figured why not start with that first.
Here's what my organizer is looking like. So all of this, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant.
This part just has a bunch of stuff and this part isn't full yet. I still need to put my razor in
here but I'm gonna shower tonight. And then this has like q-tips, hair ties, toothpaste, perfume
wrapped in a headband because it's a glass bottle so hopefully that doesn't break. This is what it
looks like so it's pretty heavy, not gonna lie. And she's also pretty thick because there's so
much stuff in here so I don't even know if this really saves me any room. Next we're gonna fill
up my jewelry box. Next we're gonna pick out my shoes because I already know what shoes I'm
bringing so let's grab them. These are the four pairs of shoes that I'm bringing. So these fancy
sandals, my regular everyday sandals. I'm bringing up my on cloud nova sneakers. They are dirty but
they're gonna get even dirtier. And then my platform Converse. So let's put these four in my
suitcase. I was honestly worried with the amount of space the shoes were going to take up. I still
have this whole middle part to put stuff which is really nice. Right now I'm currently updating
the packing list and just kind of crossing everything off that I already have packed.
It's all by categories, clothes, nothing is done. I'm trying to put that off as much as I can. Shoes
are packed. Hygiene and toiletries are packed except for a few things that I need tonight and
tomorrow morning. All of my medicine is packed including hand sanitizer, vitamins, accessories,
my jewelry is in its box. My water bottle is also packed. I grabbed some snacks, passport, ID, money,
and wallet. I feel like so far so good. It's mostly just the clothes I'm a little bit worried about.
So this is going to be my purse slash wallet. So it has my passport, my money that I took out of
the bank, my ID, car key, and just the important stuff will be in this fanny pack for travel days
and everyday use. I did all of this stuff off camera so I added my water bottle. This bag is
full of tampons, beanie, and then I actually fit my North Face jacket on this side which is really
nice. So I'm just leaving this open right now because I feel like I could definitely put like
a sweatshirt or a sweater maybe right there but this side's basically done and then this side
is going to be all of my clothing obviously. Most importantly I grabbed some snacks for the book bag.
Now we got to get down to business and start packing the clothes. Been dreading this part.
Let me show you what I have so far. So this like white linen button-up and I have these flared yoga
pants from PacSun. I have this cute little crop sweater from Hollister and then this sweater from
PacSun as well. Then I got this blue crocheted long sleeve. Isn't she cute? And then this stuff I
thrifted. So let me show you. Look how cute this crew neck is. I love it. Got another crop sweater.
Then I got this pink fleece jacket. Super cute. So that's everything that I have right now. I'm
gonna start making outfits and just like getting all my basics out as well. Um so here's my update.
So you know I just kind of basically pulled out my whole closet but it's fine. I have no idea what to
pack and that's why my room looks like this right now. First thing that we're gonna start packing
is my dresses because this is the only pile that I'm 100% certain that I'm bringing. So I have one,
two, I have five dresses in this pile. They're long and then two are short. I'm gonna put my dresses
in a packing cube and then my tops in a packing cube and the rest will just be packed in my
suitcase without one of these.
I have officially decided that I'm going to finish my packing tomorrow morning because it's really
late. I need to go to bed. Sleep is important and I have a couple hours in the morning before I have
to leave my house and I'm just going to finish all of my packing then. So I will see you guys
tomorrow morning. This is probably 70 pounds. I mean I can lift it. Suitcase is all packed and it's
100% over 50 pounds but it is what it is. Carry-on book bag is also packed and then that's Katie's
jacket and then this I'm wearing to the airport as well. We are fully packed for freaking Switzerland.
This is so freaking crazy. So guys that concludes today's video. A very stressful video for me at
least. The packing is done though. I'm getting ready to leave actually which is so crazy so
make sure you guys stay tuned for all of the Switzerland vlogs. I think this is going to be
an amazing experience and the hard part is over. Now we just have a very very long travel day ahead
of us so I hope you guys enjoyed today's video. Make sure you give this video a big thumbs up if
you enjoyed it and I'll see you very soon with back with more videos. Bye guys!
