Hey guys, welcome back to another video.
So today I'm going to be sharing with you guys 5 quick and easy make-ahead breakfast
meals that you guys can make the night before.
You can make in big batches and you'll just be able to kind of grab and go in the morning
before school or before work.
You guys have really requested this video so I really hope you guys enjoy it.
Also today's breakfast meals are kind of fall inspired.
I kind of realized everything has kind of got like a little bit of a fall twist to it
so it kind of fits the season.
So yeah, hope you guys enjoy.
Let's get right to it.
Alright, so my first breakfast idea for you guys is some apple pie oatmeal bars.
So basically all I did for these was I combined some oats, oat flour, some spices, some applesauce,
some maple syrup, and a little bit of molasses.
And then sort of made like an oat based layer, put in some apples, and then used the rest
of my little oat layer to top it with, put it in the oven, baked it, and now we've got
some beautiful little bars that I'm going to cut up.
These pretty much taste like a dessert.
They're so good.
They're super easy to make and you can also freeze these so you can even make like a double
or triple batch, put them in the freezer, and then just take them out when you need
to eat them.
Alright, so next up is some overnight oats.
I know you guys are probably sick of hearing about overnight oats and me talking about
oatmeal but you guys know I'm obsessed with oatmeal and I really think that overnight
oats are such a great quick breakfast idea because all you have to do is make it the
night before and then you have it ready to go in the morning.
These ones are a little bit different.
I wanted to give you guys a different flavor, spice it up a little bit.
So today we've got some pumpkin pie overnight oats.
So all I did for these was I combined some oats, some chia seeds, and some spices, some
plant based milk, some pumpkin puree, and some vanilla in a small jar.
Then I just mixed that up, threw the lid on it, and I threw it in the fridge and I actually
made one last night.
So this one is all ready to go.
It sat overnight.
Everything is absorbed and it smells really, really good.
So I'm going to actually top this.
You can eat it just like this or you can heat it up, you can put whatever toppings you want
on it.
But today I'm going to put some coconut yogurt, some pecans, and some raisins on top of mine.
So next up we've got some toaster pancakes.
I thought this was a really great idea, especially if you have kids or you have like a really
busy morning.
I grew up basically eating toaster waffles for breakfast every morning before school
and I loved them.
So I thought this would be a really good idea.
You can do this with pancakes or with waffles.
I have this pancake recipe on my channel already.
I also have a waffle recipe so I'll link both of those in the description down below.
But basically all I did was make a big batch of pancakes and made them all and then I let
them cool down a little bit.
Then I put them into a freezer bag with some parchment paper in between so they didn't
stick, threw it in the freezer, and then it's really great because you have pancakes whenever
you want.
All you have to do is take out the amount of pancakes that you want, throw them in the
toaster, and then you've got ready-made pancakes ready to go.
Okay, so next up I call this one the morning sweet potato.
Hear me out.
I feel like a lot of people look at sweet potato as something like savory and you can
definitely have a savory sweet potato in the morning, but I always crave something
sweet in the morning, but I also want something satiating.
So today I made some morning sweet potatoes.
So all I did for this was I baked the sweet potatoes in the oven.
You can bake these the night before, you can bake as many as you need, throw them in the
fridge, and then just warm them up in the morning.
And then all I'm going to do right now is cut open the sweet potato and then I'm going
to fill it with some coconut yogurt, some maple syrup, some cinnamon, and some chopped
walnuts and it tastes so good.
It almost has sort of like a pumpkin, pumpkin-y pie texture.
It's really good.
So last but not least, I have some muesli.
I really love having muesli on hand to have it in the mornings.
It's a great substitute for buying like boxed cereal.
It can be cheaper and it can also be a lot healthier.
A lot of boxed cereals can have like processed oils and stuff like that in them.
So for my muesli, I combined some rolled oats, some puffed rice, some sliced almonds and
pumpkin seeds, some hemp seeds, some spices, and some maple syrup.
And I just combined that in a bowl, laid it out on a baking sheet, and then baked it in
the oven just to kind of toast it and crisp it up a little bit.
And then I added in my dried fruits.
So I added in some raisins and some chopped up dried mango.
And then I just stored it in a little jar and this can last you for however long.
It's great to make huge batches of and then you have cereal every morning.
So what I'm going to do is just have some muesli with some chopped up banana and some
fresh homemade almond milk on top.
And I also have the recipe for this homemade almond milk on my channel as well.
So I'll link that in the description.
