Highlights: Almere City - PSV | Eredivisie 2024/2025

Third round of the Eredivisie Almere City Started with two losses The losing team fell apart on their home field against AZ last Friday when they visited Fortuna Sittard And now comes the reigning national champion PSV along with the much-discussed Olivier Boscagli The Frenchman who may play his last competitive match tonight PSV and perhaps even goalkeeper Walter Benitez are notably in the interest of Atletico Madrid PSV is now comfortably leading against Almere with Oppegaard also scoring Oppegaard good cross and he's already almost in a huge chance for Guus Til to open the score Vrijly indifferent yet defended by Almere City Oppegaard really gets a free run He looks decent for the home team Good combination here Akuyobi but the ball is well defended No right now it's quite risky Outplayed but it's also turning out well a free kick for Lozano What was important about Boscagli was that he was in between PSV has now taken the free kick very quickly Noah Lang is in a one-on-one three against three Noah Lang and there must be a dragon and there is a dragon And now Guus Til's goal Almere City gets a lesson in adult football here What PSV is doing here is extremely clever quickly taking the initiative Almere did not take that into account at all While Lozano lies injured on the ground Til scores to give the lead to Noah Lang Luuk de Jong it's already 2-0 That's all going a bit too easily First Eredivisie goal of the season for Luuk de Jong In Almere City is completely unable to stop PSV in the first quarter Suddenly shot by the boy no one could hold back Nordin Bakker Racing is well played Cornelius Hansen what can Almere do in the second half Is there a chance here Almost it's a chance almost it's a goal it's a goal No says the referee Foul The festival in Almere is canceled This is therefore classified as an infraction The camp's rhythm leader scores Matouar stepped on the ankle of Letesma And that was assessed as an infraction Boskak Lee is the closest but still not really easy to reach Noah Lang receives it The young man Luuk de Jong and the ball get hit Nice move by the striker Close to his second goal of the evening Back and they hit the goal Hansen from the corner and a goal for Almere City The difference is still just one Cornelius Hansen shot from the corner out of reach of Benitez And it's 1-2 First goal for Almere City this season Come from Suhaib Dries Noah Lang has already seen it and knows his match is over He is not going to the PSV bank but he is certainly not happy with the change The back of the field towards the bench But the disappointment is clearly there with Noah Lang Jackie Lozano 1-2 in the small space and hit by Dries That's something he did very quickly Suhaib Dries scores another goal And 1-3 Good attack set up by Lozano Finished at last by Dries Out of reach of Nordin Bakker Flamingo Another running action by Til Lozano Press the ball again here Ledesma PSV has him again Veerman with the pass to Tilman They scored it so easily What a beautiful goal that is from Malik Tilman It's 1-4 Another wonderful Easter like the one we saw in the first half from Joey Veerman And now it's finally being wrapped up by Tilman It seems to have been done on this Saturday evening with Almere City Pepi Tilman Veerman Links Dries Gevonden Dries And then he's in it again Is the flag up for offside so it doesn't count Let that be checked again at the very least Uitspel is not for Dries And yet it is also not for Pepi who stays neatly behind the ball It is ultimately an own goal by Barbe And I think this is just the 1-5 Indeed it is 1-5 Lozano is leaving That's a good ball Lozano Lozano in 1-6 Ook Lozano scores his goal And just like in the 1-4 against Tilman there's a beautiful Easter coming up And Lozano remains remarkably upright in this situation Veerman Veerman himself then Veerman A ball on the post It sometimes seems like a shooting gallery In the back of Almere For the last minute in this match 17-year-old Michael Bresser Dries Weather with Akuyobi It could very well be there he is Ricardo Pepi Take his goal with you And then it's 1-7 Pepi who previously scored in the Keukenkampioen division for Jong PSV He scores his first goal in the Eredivisie this season And ends between Almere City and PSV with a 1-7 result There was a huge difference tonight between the champion of the previous season and Hedwiges Maduro's team
