Exploring the Real Egypt

Exploring the real Egypt away from the usual tourist routes. Disadvantage: Sometimes you got to be escorted by the police. Big advantage: You see nature, villages and people you would otherwise never see.

On our trip through Egypt, we stopped in big cities like Cairo and Luxor but also explored small villages like Tunis and Abusir. Besides the known Pyramids of Gizeh, we also visited less popular locations likethe Birqash Camel Market and the Step-Pyramid of Djoser. We drove through the dessert, took a ride with a hot balloon, ran across donkeys, goats and camels and last but not least we met awesome people. Friendly, helpful and very open-minded people!
