HIKING & BACKPACKING IN AUSTRALIA | Ep 3 | The Great South West Walk (Victoria)

This is the Final Chapter of our thru-hike of The Great South West Walk. We finally reach the Capes & Bays section of the trail and are completely blown away with the scenery we witness. Cape Bridgewater ends up being our favourite part of the GSWW and we're so happy we got to experience it in really good weather. We successfully complete our 250KM thru-hike in Portland on day 11 at around 1:00PM. Sadly, we captured zero footage of this!

We’re Scott & Lauren, a couple from Melbourne in Australia!

Our passion for travelling, backpacking and hiking started back in July of 2017 when we headed off to Europe for a 6-month backpacking trip, which would ultimately change our lives.

After returning in January 2018, the "standard" post-travel emotions hit.
We both decided we would knuckle down and try and save as much money as possible before jetting off again to see more of this beautiful world.

Our first stop was meant to be Atlanta in Georgia, USA, where we were meant to be attempting an Appalachian Trail thru-hike beginning on March 18, 2020!
But COVID-19 put a pause on all adventures that were planned, forcing us to adventure in our beautiful backyard of Australia.
