Wholly hot tub were there ever a lot of amazing hot springs in this area! One of the most beautiful I've ever seen was deep down a sandy dirt road in Northern Mexico
What an incredible night. I slept with the tent open and the stars last night were just insane.
It's about 6 30 right now. The sun is already coming up. Ah, so nice. Such a beautiful day.
If you haven't seen my last vlog, I'm in an area called the zone of silence.
And as you might guess, it's known for its silence. So I experience ringing in my ears
and it's almost like this place is so silent that I hear the ringing in my ears only.
It's a really bizarre feeling, but at the same time very cool. What is it about this place?
I don't know, but I like it. Well, it's time to pack up. I could stay here
for a while, but I'm going to go check out some other areas and make my way more North.
I'm now in between Torreon and Chihuahua. I heard there's like some hot springs somewhere around
there. So I guess I'm going to try and pack up quickly. It's not that early anymore. It's like
8 30, but pack up and head out. So I'm off again. This place was amazing and part of me
wanted to stay longer, but another part of me was eager to head North, a back and forth.
That's unfortunately not unfamiliar. Ultimately I decided to head more North,
probably one of the most consistent little challenges I have on the road is making simple
decisions with such an open schedule, like how long to stay at a place or when to leave.
My journey has never been about getting to a certain destination and I never liked the idea
of just passing through places. It has always been about letting life unfold and following
my intuition, but I got to say my head often does get in the way. My head will get ideas about
needing to be someplace and somehow convinces me that I'm always in a rush. But as you might guess,
I'm working on getting beyond the mind. That's really what this journey is all about.
It's the journey behind the motorcycle journey, about getting better at letting go of what the
mind says and living purely by way of the heart. Funny enough, simple things like deciding when
to leave a place is a perfect way to begin strengthening my intuition. However, in today's
case, I'm not sure I was exactly there. I really had this feeling to stay and explore, but there
was this pressure to continue north and I don't really know why.
Old dilapidated hacienda, 1906.
This place was an absolute gem and later I learned something really special about it.
This place is so beautiful, tranquil and clean and it's totally natural and it's cold. I thought
it was gonna be hot like the hot springs, but it's so nice. You can camp here, I know that,
but I was planning to go somewhere a little bit more north to camp. I think I'm gonna do that
even though this place is gorgeous and would be an awesome campsite. I think I'm gonna continue my
way north. Wow, super magical. So nice, so beautifully done. So lovely to see how clear
this water is. Actually, the water is warm. It just is not as hot as it is in the cave. It's
like this turquoise green color and then over there you can see the road. So beautiful. It's
pretty hot outside. Oh, it's tempting, but I think I want to make my way further north because
otherwise it'll be a very long ride the next day.
I felt so inspired by that place. The fact that it was created and managed by the community
is a little bit unique and seeing how exceptionally well done it was gave me this feeling of power.
Like the power within people to create.
Well, this is a first. Holy s**t, I'm lucky lucky luck somehow.
This came off and I didn't secure it the way I normally do.
Since I lost one of my strappies, I'm improvising here.
Now I'm headed more north toward Chihuahua.
I wanted to get a few hours under my belt before finding another camping spot.
You know how there's this simplicity in travel?
When you're stripped down to the basics, somehow it feels so good. Well, I also feel that way about
food. Eating simply just fruits and some vegetables makes me feel so good in a similar way.
And I deeply appreciate how easy it is to get fresh food here on the side of the road.
Is there a place to camp? Yes.
Yes? Okay. How much?
$170. That would be today and tomorrow. Okay.
That's it for vlog number 16. I hope you enjoyed and as always,
please like, subscribe, and comment. And see you in the next one. Lots of love.
Such a beautiful day. Morning, night, place.
