We woke up in Regina and had a long day to Winnipeg ahead of us, but we took the nice road there, via the Qu'Appelle Valley! If you drive from Regina to Winnipeg this detour is the way to do it, it's such a beautiful and peaceful area. We had a chance to hike up likely one of the only ski hills in Saskatchewan and got a magnificent view of the Qu'Appelle Valley. It was a big driving day but also a very realistic representation of what it's like living in a van while travelling across Canada. Another great and memorable day from our trip.
Thanks for watching! 😄
We upload a new adventure twice a week now, Mondays and Thursdays!

👩❤️👨US: We met at LaSalle Secondary School in Kingston Ontario and we’ve been together for over 8 years now. Keith comes from a bilingual military family and Devon from a Kingston family of teachers. We made it through Queen’s University together where Keith studied Mechanical Engineering and Devon, Concurrent Education and Global Development. Right now we’re travelling across Canada in a Dodge Caravan for the entire month but come January 2022 we have bigger plans in mind. Our goal is to #travel full time, become #selfemployed, and #explore the world while sharing what we’ve learned and capturing our experiences. 🌎✈️📚
I spilled coffee on my sweater.
Yikes, here we go.
Good morning from our bed in Walmart parking lot in Regina. Keith is still asleep beside me.
We just wanted to start a video here, but I really have to pee so I'm gonna run in and pee.
We slept in a little bit because we set alarms and then realized it was pouring rain.
Good morning. Devin went to go pee. I'm still in the comfy bed. It's so nice.
I think we sleep well in here, but in my opinion, we don't sleep long enough.
Devin always likes to wake up and get moving even though she knows that she's still tired and she'll be like, I'm tired.
I don't think I slept well or enough. It's like, well, we could have just slept well. It's morning.
So I have a hard time being awake. Yeah, Devin said it's pretty miserable outside, but that won't stop us. We'll still go.
We're gonna drive through Fort Capelle, check it out, see the valley, and make our way to Winnipeg.
We're Keith and Devin. This past year we started a YouTube channel to make the most of each day.
Most recently, we have converted a 2011 Dodge Caravan and have been traveling across Canada from Ontario all the way to BC and all the way back.
Subscribe to follow along.
Once again, back on the road. It is rainy and gray, but we're still gonna go to Fort Capelle, which is only about
35 minutes from here. I spilled coffee on my sweater.
I only have three sweaters on this trip. I'm gonna be a stained slob. A stained, what did you say? A stained slob?
You're already a slob.
We found a random outhouse here.
So we're just gonna use the washroom and then we found an attraction and we're going to walk on it, up it.
You'll see. This!
It's a scale!
So we're gonna go climb up. We got our sandwiches ready to go.
So very classic, we made it to the top and look what's at the top of this mountain.
A field, because we're in Saskatchewan. And that's what's everywhere.
We made it up this tiny ski hill and look, we get to see the entire valley.
It's starting to get a bit sprinkly up here.
So we're gonna start making our way back down because we do still have quite a bit of driving.
We may try and climb up one of the poles though.
There's a platform, right? It's not like sketchy.
This one!
Yikes, here we go.
I gotcha.
We made it up.
Ow!
What?
Did you get that?
Ow!
You whack your head?
Keith, over here.
Ow!
You whack your head on everything.
I actually whack my head like twice a day, every day.
Woo!
We're up here! We did it!
Okay, now let's go down.
Let's go down. I hit my head.
You can see the storms coming this way, the rain.
So we have to go down before it gets really rained on.
Real slow.
Keith, stay with me please.
It's just a barky dog.
Are you sure?
Yeah, like, if you don't approach it aggressively...
Doggos.
Go Kootenay River Runners.
Keith's got a new look.
We're back on the road. We are heading towards Winnipeg, back to the Walmart that we stayed at.
Five hours.
Just stopped on the Trans Canada to take a pee break on a random side road.
Sometimes you do what you gotta do.
Time to eat the rest of this sandwich.
It actually is bigger than your head!
And this is like the third time I eat it.
This is a great bang for my buck.
Lunch time on the road.
That was the Manitoba sign.
So this sandwich made it across three provinces because we got this in Calgary and now we're in Manitoba.
Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba.
Your last bite.
Made it to Walmart!
We're back at the Walmart. We worked out.
In fact, we worked out right there.
It's a size two.
Can't believe I'm that excited about Walmart. Who would have thought?
Well, that was a long day of driving.
We really did not stop.
We left Fort Capelli.
Pee and drone footage again and then gas and that's it.
It's almost 8 o'clock.
8 o'clock because we lost an hour.
So we're gonna do a little brainstorming and then we'll get right back once we know what we're doing.
As you can tell, we're going through our pantry and our cooler because we just bought groceries.
Fun evening spent Friday night.
I'm tired.
We're going to make salad in a bowl once again.
Our location of eating is not as pretty as last night.
It's my door.
Have that and then watch some more How I Met Your Mother.
Some popcorn. We're full. We have tons of food. We're good.
And tomorrow morning, we're waking up early for some Winnipeg.
Yeah, we've never been downtown Winnipeg so we're gonna check it out before heading back to Ontario.
To the Forks.
Yeah, this is what we do every night.
This is our setup. Not bad, eh?
Pretty cool. We got space.
Thanks for watching.
See you tomorrow.
I've been editing and Keith has been listening to a podcast with earphones so we haven't really been talking.
And I think he's losing it.
Lonely.
I'm so lonely.
Another pot salad.
There's no actual pot.
Ooh, cannabis salad.
Am I getting high tonight?
No, you're not.
Nice and healthy. It's yummy.
It's just so fresh and good.
It is very fresh, this Asian mix.
Good choice, Tiff.
With the view. Look at this view.
