PACK + TRAVEL WITH ME TO NEW YORK

Hey guys, it's Nicole and welcome back to my channel. We are going to New York I'm so excited. This video is going to be the pack with me as well as traveling But then my next video will be the actual nyc vlog So stay tuned for that But basically I was invited to go to an event hosted by apple like what like that's so cool So my mom and I will be going out to new york for a couple of days. We are so pumped so excited First of all, my mom is like my ultimate traveling buddy We've gone to so many places together and always just have so much fun the two of us and then two we love new york I've been there like a couple times now, but every time I go I have such a great time So this is gonna be so fun. I do need to get packing asap though for a little context It is currently monday october 23rd. It's 5 45 right now Oh, and sorry if like the lighting changes throughout this video i'm starting to film this when the sun is setting So it might get dark. Sorry about that. But yeah, it's monday evening and I leave tomorrow morning at 4 a.m And I don't have one thing packed. So we are going to finish all that tonight I hope you guys enjoyed this video and now let's get ready for nyc Oh Thank you so much Love you Bless bless bless. My parents just got me an acai bowl. Oh, this has made my night 100 times better Every time I pack for a trip, I always make a packing list and that list consists of bags clothes shoes electronics and bathroom stuff I hope i'm not forgetting anything But I always do it in those categories because I usually have a lot under each category that I need to pack So starting with bags, this is my carry-on luggage. It's from cal pack I've been using it for like I don't know for the longest time I feel like now but it has a bunch of stickers On it that I love catch flights not feelings preach. I'm also going to be bringing my little lemon backpack This is what I use for school, but i'm going to use it as my second carry-on But like that's my carry-on luggage, but this is like my carry-on bag if that makes sense I just have to take out all of my folders and replace it with a lot of other stuff And then the last bag that i'm bringing is this lv little shoulder purse. This is like my favorite bag at the moment It's so cute. I love it But now that I got all the bags out of the way now time to figure out what i'm putting in all of them Moving on to clothes next also don't mind me scarfing down this acai bowl right now You girl is really hungry All right. So for clothes, I hope i'm packing the right amount of stuff also for the right weather I don't think i've ever been to new york in the fall time I've gone in the winter and in summer time and in the winter. It's super cold within the summer It's really hot. So I think fall should be in between but i'm kind of catering to like both stuff I don't you'll see we're gonna be in new york for like three days So usually when i'm picking out the clothes that I want to pack or I just go like day by day what we're doing And what i'll need so now let me show you everything that I have i'm gonna bring this puffer from white fox again I don't know if it's gonna be like super cold, but I figure like at nighttime It'll probably get kind of chilly. So a puffer will never hurt. This is going to be my travel outfit I have my lululemon dance studio pants These are so comfy and so freaking cute and then i'm gonna pair it with this white fox hoodie that I just got you guys know I love my white fox hoodies But this one is really different than all the other ones that I have it's kind of in like this sweater material and i'm obsessed So super excited to wear that and then underneath I just have a little tank top a very little tank top This is from white fox, too. Okay, so i'll be changing into that in like 10 hours I'm, also bringing a gym outfit pretty sure in the hotel There is a gym so my mom and I do want to go there and get at least one workout in for the trip These shorts are from amazon. They make your butt look good sports bra from white fox. This one's super cute It like crisscrosses in the back and then lastly my pump cover which is this t-shirt This is from gymshark and it looks like this. This is also oh my god. I love this material. It's so soft Okay, that's that. I forgot to show for my travel outfit. I also have white fox socks I swear this isn't sponsored by white fox. They're just one of my favorite clothing brands. I'm bringing my black skims dress This is like a staple for me to bring on trips I feel like because you can wear it to so many things I plan on wearing this to like dinner in the hotel I don't know. I just love it. It's great and then to pair with that this little like sleeve or no It's called a shrug. It's from princess polly and it's literally just sleeves like it's not even it's not a full sweater at all You just put it around your arms, but it's super cute Next we have the outfit that i'm going to wear to the event. I have this super cute top right here This is from love bonito I feel like a little girl boss in this outfit But it's like a square neckline and then it has like shoulder poofs You guys will see it in the vlog and then to pair with that top I'm wearing these jeans from urban outfitters. They're bell bottoms It is super cute like muted blue color and then it zips on the side These are one of my favorite pairs of jeans next I have these two outfits I don't know if i'm gonna wear both but i'm kind of just bringing them in case we're like walking around new york because I can Always just put my puffer over them and I think i'll be set but for this first outfit I have this flannel from urban outfitters. This one is like super cool It's kind of short in the front and then it's long in the back and then i'm pairing it with these brandy jeans And then the second outfit I have this little t-shirt. It says make boys cry This is from princess polly and then i'm pairing it with these jeans from white fox again I either will or will not use both outfits, but it's always nice to just have one just in case Okay, and then the rest of my clothes. Wait, what is this? Oh, I forgot about this Okay, i'm packing this for fun like I don't really know if i'm gonna wear this or not But it's just this like little play suit from white fox. I just love how this fits So if I find a time to wear it, then I probably will and then lastly I just have like pajamas and all of my undergarments and that's everything i'm packing for clothes Next up is shoes. I actually just got a new pair of af1s and you guys know This is my favorite shoe like af1s till I die, dude. Look how beautiful that is. I haven't gotten a new pair Let me just show you That is Guys, oh my god Every time I wear these there's always like at least 10 comments are like nicole you need to get some new af1s Here you go. So fresh air forces Can't wait to wear these. Hopefully they don't take like too long to break in though because it's new york We're gonna be walking around a lot. So I do need these to be like super comfy Okay, so i'm gonna take those out of the box and then put them in the luggage But I think i'm also gonna bring these heels. These are my white heels that I wear to like everything I wore these to homecoming and I think they're from princess polly. I honestly have no clue So i'm, sorry, but they're super cute and i'm thinking I might wear them to the event or like maybe out to dinner So i'm just packing them just in case but those are the only two pairs of shoes i'm packing next We're gonna do my carry-on bag this bad boy right here This is gonna consist of all the electronics I need to bring which is a lot because whenever I film a trip I always have cameras batteries chargers all the equipment that I cannot forget and then i'm also bringing some school work because I am Going to be skipping not skipping i'm missing Which is basically the same thing i'm missing like how many tuesday wednesday thursday I'm gonna be missing four days of school So I do not want to get too behind I will be bringing some papers with me and staying in communication with my teachers So we have that all figured out but I don't think I have to bring like all of my notebooks I can also access a lot of things on my laptop too. So here's what I know I'm packing for sure my laptop duh I'm bringing these two cameras the canon v10 and then the canon g7x and then along with that are batteries chargers So I need my macbook charger my phone charger, but i'll pack those in the morning because I need to use them tonight This is what I use to connect the sd cards to my laptop I have some spare sd cards and then I think i'm gonna bring my folder with like a bunch of my pager What am I even saying a bunch of my papers doesn't matter what subject it's like all in here as well as my ap lit Notebook and then ap calc notebook you guys i'm missing one of my math tests And that literally gives me so much stress just missing math in general gives me so much stress Even if you're not in like calc if you're in a vigorous demanding math class You know that it sucks not being there for the lesson missing a test because usually the makeup is harder than the actual test So don't even get me started stress about that, but i'll be in new york So it's fine. But yeah, definitely gonna have to be studying over the trip and then doing all my homework, of course Okay, and then everything i'm not bringing i'm literally just gonna put on the floor under my desk Oh, I need my pencil case and my glasses i'm so excited because I think my mom and I are trying to go to like A cute coffee shop in new york and do a bunch of our work because not only do I have a lot of work But she has a lot of work to get done, too So we're gonna be grinding in a cute little coffee shop doing our thing I cannot wait for like moments like that That's what I mean by like romanticizing your life like doing small things that usually consider boring like just make them exciting Because it just makes life so much more enjoyable Oh also, I guess i'll just bring my disposable since it's already in here. I got my keys. I need to charge my airpods Packing is like low-key fun, but so overwhelming like what if i'm forgetting something which I probably am I might bring hold up Okay, i'm back Oh, i'm also gonna bring these headphones as well And if you know, you know, I actually got these for my mom last mother's day and she lets me borrow them at times So i'm gonna bring this on the plane She'll probably use them too because the noise canceling on these are really good, but I also have my airpods So it's fine. Okay, but I think besides that this should be everything My mom and I have so many things to keep us busy throughout the whole trip I don't think i'm forgetting anything but sometimes like in an hour it'll just pop in my head and be like, oh shoot I forgot this so we'll see if I have any of those moments later But as of right now i'm feeling pretty good about what i'm packing so far. So Okay done done with the carry-on all right and my last category on my packing list is bathroom stuff This is always the last thing that I pack because obviously in the morning before I go I need to brush my teeth and stuff So i'm not gonna actually like put this in my luggage yet, but I will show you guys what i'm packing So I have this huge bag Oh my god, it's from timu literally like all my stuff in there I definitely don't need all this but it's really big if it's a lot So i'm just gonna bring my normal skincare my normal makeup my hair stuff toothbrush toothpaste You know all the essentials. But like I said, i'm just gonna close up everything tomorrow morning That's all i'm gonna do for this section But besides that everything else should be ready to go and pack like all my clothes and stuff the plan now i'm going to take a shower get into bed edit for the rest of the night and then hopefully get some good sleep because I have to wake up really early tomorrow, but that was my packing process for new york I will see you guys bright and early tomorrow. Love you Good morning, i'm still like not even awake currently 4 45. We made it into the airport We are currently in the delta sky cloud and we have a food buffet I give it a 10 out of 10. Honestly, we got a nice selection. I'm, so tired though I only got three hours of sleep, so i'll probably sleep on the plane But I also want to drink coffee so I can get stuff done do half half you don't have to work the whole time We have like half an hour until our flight boards It goes back for seconds, you know, they feed you on the plane too. Oh, man. Well, I love food But the flight should be about like what five hours. Yeah, i'm having a minute. I think I might get a latte Let's go try to make some coffee Okay, so I tried making a latte But here's the thing i'm used to just going to starbucks ordering the most sugary drink ever But I only added like three pumps of vanilla syrup. I don't know. I have a feeling i'm not gonna like it but taste test Yeah, we're just gonna chill here until we have to leave. We're sitting by the window still pitch black outside Airplane update guys. I've been sleeping this whole flight I think my mom was sleeping for a good portion too But the seat goes all the way down and with the pillow and blanket. Oh my god I just knocked out the pilot just announced. We're 30 minutes out from new york. We're landing soon. I'm so excited Oh, wait, mom. Say hi Slippers I forgot to use them. That would have been nice. Yes See y'all in new york We made it to new york. I am so energized now. It's currently like 2 45 here. New york's three hours ahead of la So hopefully we're not I don't think we'll be jet lagged really probably just be like up late. I'm fine. I'm high on life Okay. Okay. Anyways, we're gonna head to our hotel now. This is how we won't lug it It's not Look at that just close he closed it Oh my gosh I think i'm gonna end today's vlog here because I need to start filming the next video Which is the actual vlog of the trip.
