Mount Huangshan: The Yellow Mountains of China

The sacred mountains of Huangshan (黄山), China, have been a magnet for emperors, artists, and monks for centuries. Its dramatic landscapes and granite peaks have inspired numerous classic paintings and poems in Chinese culture. As someone who has traveled extensively and photographed Yosemite, I also refer to Huangshan as the Yosemite of China.
