Hello everyone, welcome to Xinshiye, I'm Liu Xin.
In September 2022,
the Northwestern natural gas pipeline connecting Russia and Germany was bombed.
But in the past two years,
it has been widely talked about who destroyed the Northwestern pipeline.
Russia suspects that the CIA did it,
and some Western countries suspect that Russia bombed it.
On August 14 this year,
the Wall Street Journal published an exclusive report
telling the true story of the Northwestern pipeline being bombed,
saying that a six-man group led by the Ukrainian military carried out an explosive operation.
Zelensky approved the plan,
but under the intervention of the CIA,
it was ordered to stop the operation.
But the Ukrainian armed forces commander,
Zaluzny, did not obey the order
and ordered to blow up the Northwestern pipeline.
At the same time,
the biggest victim of the pipeline explosion, Germany,
reported in the Western media that
the Federal Prosecutor's Office of Germany
The Wall Street Journal reported that
some media reported that
it is not yet clear who ordered the attack.
Germany also did not seem to accept
the statement that the Ukrainian military insisted on being alone.
So what is the truth?
Let's take a look at what the Wall Street Journal said.
The statement that the Northwestern pipeline was destroyed
originally originated from a goodwill
and patriotic feelings for Ukraine.
But in May 2022,
several Ukrainian soldiers and businessmen gathered
to celebrate the great success of Ukraine in stopping the invasion of Russia.
During this time, someone proposed the next action
to destroy the Northwestern pipeline.
According to the report,
the people involved in the operation revealed
that the operation cost $300,000
and the funds were provided by private businessmen.
One participant called the operation a company cooperation.
The operation team rented a small yacht
with six crew members,
including trained Ukrainian civilian divers.
One of them is a woman.
She is a diver,
but she can also act as a cover for the operation
and make people think they are a group of friends going on a sea trip.
A current general with special combat experience
is in charge of this mission.
The general will report directly to the commander of the 10th Ukrainian Armed Forces,
the four-star general Jaruzelny.
A few days later, Zelensky approved this plan.
All the arrangements were made verbally,
without leaving any written records.
However, the Dutch military intelligence agency MIVD learned of this conspiracy
and issued a warning to the CIA in June of the same year.
U.S. officials quickly notified Germany.
U.S. officials said
the CIA warned Zelensky's office to stop this action.
Then Zelensky accused Jaruzelny
of ordering to stop this plan.
A senior official familiar with Zelensky's conversation with Jaruzelny said,
Jaruzelny's criticism of Zelensky is irrefutable.
He told Zelensky,
once the sabotage team takes action,
they will be isolated,
because any contact with them could be dangerous.
It's like a torpedo.
Once you launch a torpedo at the enemy,
you can't pull it back.
The torpedo can only move forward until it hits,
Last month, Jaruzelny just became the UK ambassador to Ukraine.
He completely denies these statements.
He told the Wall Street Journal via text message
that he knew nothing about such actions,
and claimed that the Ukrainian armed forces were not authorized to carry out overseas missions,
so he would not participate in them.
The Wall Street Journal said,
they interviewed four Ukrainian defense and security senior officials.
These four officials either participated in this conspiracy,
or knew directly about this conspiracy.
They said the Northwest Railway was a legal target for Ukraine's defense of the Russian war.
Here is a question,
where did the Wall Street Journal get this information,
and then interviewed?
Jaruzelny completely denies.
Should we believe the source of the Wall Street Journal,
or believe Jaruzelny?
In the report,
the Wall Street Journal also specifically described how to implement this plan.
The general in charge of this operation
recruited some senior special operations officers from Ukraine.
They have extensive experience in planning high-risk secret operations against Russia.
They helped coordinate this attack.
One of them is called Roman Chervensky.
He used to work for the SBU, the main security and intelligence agency in Ukraine.
He is a military officer.
Last year, Chervensky was detained for other things,
and was bailed out in July this year.
He is currently being tried in Ukraine.
When the Wall Street Journal contacted him,
he refused to comment on the incident of the Northwest Natural Gas Company,
saying he was not authorized to discuss this matter.
The report said,
when Chervensky and the sabotage team were planning the operation,
they decided to use a small boat and a six-person team
These pipes are 700 miles long.
The six-person team is made up of experienced military personnel
and civilians with maritime expertise.
In September 2022,
the saboteur rented a leisure yacht in the port city of Bratislava, Germany,
called the Fairy Seat, which is 50 meters long.
The boat was rented with the help of a Polish travel agency.
This travel agency was established by the Ukrainian intelligence agency 10 years ago
to cover financial transactions.
After the Northwest pipeline was bombed,
Germany has been investigating.
A person familiar with German investigation
talked about the composition of the six-person team.
The captain is a retired military officer serving in the war.
The other four crew members are experienced deep-sea divers.
Some of the crew members are civilians.
According to two Ukrainians who are familiar with the conspiracy,
the captain temporarily left his unit.
His unit has been fighting on the front line in the southeast of Ukraine.
His commander did not know that he was dispatched to blow up the Northwest.
Everything was ready.
The crew only took diving equipment, satellite navigation,
portable sonar, and the location of the sewage pipe,
and set off.
The four divers worked in pairs.
They operated a powerful explosive called HMX
This explosive is connected to the thunder pipe under constant control.
A small amount of explosive is enough to tear the high-pressure pipe.
It takes about three hours to reduce the pressure
Then they had to stop diving for at least 24 hours,
otherwise they would be seriously injured.
At that time, the weather was bad,
forcing them to temporarily stop in Sandhamn Harbor, Sweden.
A diver accidentally threw an explosive device into the sea.
Due to the bad weather,
the crew members also briefly discussed whether to terminate the operation.
But the storm stopped soon.
They succeeded.
Three of the four pipes in the Northwest were destroyed,
causing energy prices to soar.
Germany had no choice but to import liquid natural gas.
Until today,
Germany has to pay about $1 million a day
to rent a non-acceptance station for liquid natural gas.
These acceptance stations can only partially replace
Russian natural gas sent by the Northwest pipeline.
Then Germany, Denmark, Sweden and the United States sent warships,
submarines, unmanned light aircraft and aircraft
to investigate the leak of natural gas in nearby areas.
A few days after the Northwest was bombed,
in October 2022,
the German Foreign Intelligence Agency received the second clue
about the Ukrainian conspiracy from the Central Intelligence Agency.
The Central Intelligence Agency handed over
a report from the Dutch Military Intelligence Agency again.
The report provided a detailed description of the attack,
including the type of ship used,
and the route that the crew may take.
The report also connected Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander
Jaruzeli and the Ukrainian military to the attack.
The intelligence officials let the German police know about this information.
German investigators asked dozens of possible witnesses,
scanned the sea around the explosion,
and searched for a large amount of data,
including digital communication, travel records and financial transactions.
The crackdown was a lucky breakthrough.
The members of the sabotage team forgot to clean the fairy seat
in the process of leaving Germany in a hurry.
This led the German detectives to find explosive traces,
fingerprints and DNA samples of the crew.
Later, the investigators confirmed the crew's mobile phone number
and satellite phone number.
This data allowed the police to reconstruct the entire journey of the ship.
It stopped in Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Poland.
The US authorities obtained an e-mail from Google
from a Ukrainian merchant
who rented the ship through a court order
and handed it over to the German police.
From mid-May 2022,
the Ukrainian merchant contacted
a number of German ship rental companies in Sweden and Germany.
The investigators once again tried to get cooperation from the Polish authorities.
Because of the sabotage team,
part of Poland was used as a logistics base
and stayed in Kropotkiew, Poland.
During that period,
a port official suspected the crew on the yacht and called the police.
The Polish border guard checked the identity of the crew.
They were allowed to continue sailing north.
The entire port was covered by a wide range of video surveillance.
However, although Russia and Berlin
have a close history of cooperation in police affairs,
the Polish officials initially refused to hand over
CCTV footage of the port.
This year, they told their German colleagues
that not long after the fairy sign left,
these footages were destroyed as usual.
The Polish internal security agency ABW told the Wall Street Journal
that such videos did not exist.
In November 2022,
German investigators believed
that Ukrainians were the mastermind behind the explosion.
However, Russia did not believe the German police's investigation,
and thought it was a fairy tale.
Kremlin officials claimed that
the U.S. had blown up the North West Railway.
Before Russia invaded Ukraine,
Biden had warned that as long as Russia invaded Ukraine,
it would blow up the North West Railway.
In February 2023,
an 80-year-old U.S. reporter,
Seymour Hersh,
cited anonymous sources and said,
In June 2022,
the U.S. Navy's submarine
set off a bomb on the Shuqi Railway
in a secret operation deployed by the White House,
and exploded the bomb
with the help of Norway in September 2022.
Hersh is a famous reporter at the Pulitzer Prize.
During the war,
he first reported that the U.S. military
had launched a massacre on the Vietnamese village of My Lai,
causing a stir.
In February last year,
Hersh's report caused a huge response and controversy.
The U.S. and the Norwegian government immediately denied it,
while Germany and other countries remained silent.
This intensified foreign speculation.
In February this year,
Denmark and Sweden stopped the investigation.
The Danish police said
that the investigation was complex and comprehensive,
and that the explosion was a deliberate destruction.
But the evidence was insufficient to file a criminal lawsuit in Denmark,
and could not be further evaluated.
A few years earlier,
Zelenskiy dismissed Jaruzeli's military position,
saying that it needed to be reorganized
in order to restart the war effort.
Jaruzeli was later appointed
the Ukrainian Ambassador to the United Kingdom.
This position gave him
the immunity to be sued.
The Wall Street Journal said,
In June this year,
the German police issued a secret arrest warrant
for Jaruzeli,
saying that he was one of the messengers who blew up Beixi.
In 2022,
a van carrying a group of Ukrainians
entered Germany from Poland,
and was stopped by a German speed camera.
The man in the photo was a diving coach
and his family lived near Warsaw.
But the Polish authorities did not carry out the arrest warrant.
This instructor has returned to Ukraine.
This is a major blow to Germany's investigation,
because Jaruzeli and other suspects
have now been informed.
They will avoid going to places other than Ukraine.
Ukrainian officials involved or familiar with the conspiracy
believe that
it is impossible to judge any commander.
Because in addition to talks between senior officials,
there is no evidence.
At least at the beginning,
they all agreed to blow up Beixi.
They will not testify,
so as not to prove their guilt.
According to the exclusive report of the Wall Street Journal,
in Germany,
the mainstream media only reported
that the German Federal Prosecutor General issued an arrest warrant
and arrested a diving coach from Ukraine
who was suspected of participating in the blow-up of Beixi.
The NDRG said
the diving coach was currently living in Poland,
and the Polish police had not yet arrested him.
The suspect denied participating in the explosion of Beixi.
He told the NDRG on the phone.
He was surprised by these accusations.
The Wall Street Journal and the NDRG
are the mainstream media in the United States and Germany.
According to media reports,
the Wall Street Journal cleared the suspicion of the CIA,
and Zelensky was not responsible,
but the former Ukrainian commander-in-chief insisted.
The NDRG also claimed
that it did not know who ordered the blow-up of Beixi.
In the report,
they mentioned the origin and practice of the blow-up of Beixi,
and said that the news came from foreign intelligence agencies.
In other words, in Germany,
although they may be Ukrainians
But who ordered the blow-up of Beixi?
Who is the culprit?
Germany has not made its own judgment.
In addition,
the German media got this information from foreign intelligence agencies.
It is speculated that the Wall Street Journal is probably the same,
and then did a further interview.
This answers the question we asked before.
How did the Wall Street Journal know this information?
But this raises a new question.
The intelligence agencies have long mastered this information.
In this war,
Germany's funding and arms aid to Ukraine
is limited to the United States.
If the German people know that Ukraine blew up the Beixi pipeline,
this may subvert relations between Kiev and Berlin.
I'm afraid most Germans can't stand it.
They all paid a high price economically.
The Wall Street Journal said,
some German political leaders
may be willing to ignore evidence pointing to Ukraine
because they are worried that this will weaken the domestic support for war efforts.
But the German police are independent in politics,
so they track down clues one after another.
Is it now that foreign intelligence agencies want to fight for Germany
and publicize this information?
Mobilize the Germans to oppose continuing to aid Ukraine,
thereby forcing Ukraine to negotiate and end the Russian-Ukrainian war?
If the Russian-Ukrainian war ends before the US election,
who will benefit from the election?
There seems to be a deeper story behind it.
OK, that's all for today.
