#PandaStory: Today Xiao Qi Ji and Mei Xiang's schedule was back to "normal". And it brings me great joy to share Xiao Qi Ji's introduction to the Weeble (at least it's the first time I remember seeing it?), as well as a nursing bout with audio.
Just before 1pm today Qi Ji got a case of the friskies ... he was in the pool multiple times, doing gymnastics on the hammock structure, rolling on the hill, sliding down the tree branch, and just being his silly goofy self. For his first encounter with the weeble in room 3 he pawed it and slowly backed away from it ... and ignored it for awhile. But later he started batting at it, running back up the rockwork only to come down again and bat it some more! Too funny not to share!

He did see his daddy Tian Tian at the howdy window today. And while I don't usually show Mei and Qi Ji's reunion, his jaunty, loping trot as he followed Mei made me laugh!
And later in the afternoon after Mei and Qi Ji had polished off all their treats and eaten a lot of fresh bamboo, Qi Ji asked to nurse ... and Mei Xiang said yes. It always makes me smile when he lays on his side beside her ... that seems to activate his nursing song!
For those of you affected by the icy, cold winter weather (I am, so I'm staying home, spending time with my pandas), please be safe!
