Welcome to the Guerrero Coast here in Mexico.
To get to Playa Viva you fly into the beautiful town of Zihuatanejo
before they pick you up and whisk you away to camp just 30 miles south.
So excited to be one of our favorite properties in Comfortably Wild
featured in the conservation tracker which is near to our heart.
So places that go beyond sustainability and thinking about improving the landscape,
strengthening the communities and thinking about future generations.
That is Playa Viva.
This is our eco casita.
Dumbed up to perfection and check this out.
One we've got a gorgeous bed and the walls slide out for a full sea view.
Wow gorgeous bathroom with all sustainable products
because they capture the gray water to help the garden.
It's the thoughtful details that matter so for every property listed
we talk about the nice touch at Playa Viva.
They've created a beautiful book The Discovery Trail which helps you navigate their landscape
and see the various ways they are restoring the coastal forest
and have an adventure along the way.
Make sure to head out on the permaculture tour with Amanda.
She's doing an amazing job with what was damaged land into thriving land.
Growing vegetables for dinner to growing bamboo for building materials.
They are thinking through all their systems and using it all to the fullest.
Gonna catch a local soccer game.
Playa Viva is super entrenched in town from the schooling to the clinics
to supporting sports teams.
And welcome to our bedroom.
In-floor hammock, canopy bed, open air extends to a second bedroom.
Delightful.
Oh hi Mike.
Must do comfortably wild adventure go help release sea turtles at Playa Viva Sanctuary.
Oh my goodness 140 baby turtles hatched last night and we got to help them out to sea.
Oh my gosh.
Getting to sea.
Yay.
You cannot help but cheer for these guys.
Oh what a joy.
When David and Sandra bought the 200 acres of Playa Viva
they asked the community what do you dream this place to be.
They asked anthropologists, biologists,
and have crafted one of the most sustainable regenerative resorts in the world.
