Championship Point | Novak Djokovic Wins Record-Equalling 24th Grand Slam Title | 2023 US Open

Novak Djokovic, a Grand Slam champion again. Novak Djokovic, his third major title of this season. His fourth US Open. 24 and counting. 24 and he still wants more. That's who he is. That's his little girl. And his little boy is here too. Oh, nice. Good job, daddy. Amazing thing about this. The records are ridiculous. Everything you think about Djokovic, the numbers are incredible. What he's done throughout his career. You're going to look at this score when you see all the majors that he's won. You're going to think, fairly routine. This match hinged on the 104-minute second set. That tie break. There was a set point in there that he saved. There was a break point in there that he saved. Physically, he looked as though he didn't have much left. He loses that set. He does not win this US Open. He was in such distress, wasn't he, Jimmy? Yes. But when you get that two-set lead, it's amazing what your mind will give you. Enough energy to get to the finish line. And Djokovic somehow managed to get a second win. Somewhat dominated that third and final set. He's got enough energy to climb up the stairs.
