We're sitting out here at the clock shop in Montville, up on the top of the mountain.
Come up Razorback Road to the clock shop in Montville, Queensland.
This is where Phil Hoffman, an importer of quality German clocks,
beautiful cuckoo clocks, black forest clocks, grandfather clocks,
beautiful new ones, all up on the walls.
If you go in there, you'll be amazed as they cuckoo all over the place.
Beautiful place. Come on up, Montville, Queensland.
These are modelled on carriage clocks.
I'm not sure whether these are original carriage clocks,
but original carriage clocks that look like those go up to the thousands.
This one here is more like a skeleton clock.
It's only got the actual clockwork itself inside of a frame.
And it's modelled on an old antique. It's not an antique at all.
So this one's quite cheap, $259.
But I like the look of a clock that's open and empty, not having a case.
A carefully imported grandfather clock from Germany, black forest, made by Schneider.
Very detailed case.
The movement is housed in this case, and it's from Keninga.
Keninga is a very old company still located in the black forest,
making grandfather clock movements and other clock movements,
as well as they do make some case clocks as well.
Well, I like the shape, and I like the inlays.
But they actually look beautiful.
Beautiful. Thank you.
