Good morning from Sydney, Australia, you guys.
My goodness.
It has been a long time coming.
It is our first time ever in this beautiful city
and our first time in general in Australia.
So-
I'm so excited because we're going to be here
for like two or three months.
I know.
And we're so, so incredibly grateful to be here.
We have a ton of fun stuff planned for the day
because we want to explore every square inch
of this incredible city.
And what better way to start
than with a good cup of coffee?
Thank you.
So we're here at a spot called Primary Coffee,
which you guys actually recommended to us.
So we've been super excited to try it,
especially because it's right in our neighborhood
here in Potts Point where we're staying.
And look at this coffee.
All right, let's try it.
Cheers, baby.
That's one of the best cups of coffee I've had in a real.
Yeah, you guys told us to get the flat white,
so that's what we tried.
It's so, so good.
And now I want to try this too.
All the pastries look so good.
Oh my God.
What was this again?
Is that honey sea salt?
Yeah, it's like a little donut kind of, but thinner.
Like a churro, it tastes like.
Oh my God.
This is so good.
Babe, you did not react to no churros.
I did react to this.
This is amazing.
I thought I overreacted.
All right, so we're headed to Sydney Harbor,
which I'm so excited about.
It's only a 10 minute drive from here.
And we thought instead of like Ubering or taking the metro,
it'd be so nice if we rent bikes.
Yeah, we take these sweet rides.
Yeah, and we'll be able to see the city
and get a feel for it on the way there.
So I love this.
This is like one of our favorite things to do
when we're in a new city.

We are here in Sydney Harbor.
It is so beautiful.
It's so breathtakingly beautiful.
The opera house is so much more pretty
than I thought it was gonna be.
Yeah.
I already had high expectations.
Exactly, I was gonna say,
it's one of those things you expect is going to be amazing
and then you see it in person
and it's like way past what you can even imagine.
I can't wait to go check that out closer.
But first thing we wanna do here around the harbor
is check out that right there.
The Sydney Harbor Bridge.
That is the iconic, iconic Sydney Harbor Bridge.
And apparently you're able to do a bridge climb on it.
That's like the famous thing to do.
And we wanted to do that so we could get a nice view,
but it costs $344 Australian dollars per person.
Which is just too expensive.
It's astronomical.
But you guys, please let us know, is that worth it?
Should we just cough up the money and do that someday?
Because man, it must be one of the most amazing things ever.
Or scary.
Yeah.
But we did see that you can book a ticket
to the Nylon Lookout Point,
which is a specific point in the bridge
that you'll be able to climb all the way up
and get a 360 view of the city.
And that's really what we want,
is a really nice view to start off
our first impressions of the city.
So we're headed there right now.
We have reservations.
Sydney Harbor Bridge right now.
You can see the people do the bridge climb.
Yeah.
It looks pretty amazing.
It looks really scary.
Rylan's scared of it for sure.
I'm scared of how expensive it is.
But I think we go up on the little towers on the side
for this Nylon Lookout Point.
Yeah, right there.
This is an Australian staple.
And you told us to go to a place called Lowe's.
Yeah, Lowe's.
And it's literally four minutes away.
Yeah.
It's like right over there.
Yeah.
And I'm starving and it sounds so good.
So let's go.
The beef and the one with sesame seeds and spinach.
Wow, that looks so good.
Thank you.
It's okay?
Thanks so much.
Okay, let's see him.
Oh my gosh.
Are you kidding me?
Wow, that looks so flaky.
Oh my gosh.
So this is like tomato sauce.
This is literally so flaky.
I cannot believe how amazing this is.
Okay, okay.
Cheers.
That's so freaking good.
I almost cussed.
It's so good.
That's insane.
You guys.
I love this.
Thank you.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for this.
I'm gonna try it.
I'm guessing this is what all Australians do.
It's important.
You gotta try the ketchup.
Sorry.
Tomato sauce.
Is it not called ketchup?
No.
Okay.
Really?
Let me try.
Ooh.
Okay.
I do.
I like it.
I do like it.
Finish these right now.
Enjoy this view.
Then it's time for the star of the show.
Right into the opera house next.
I'm so excited.
This whole day has just been amazing.
So far.
I know.
Guys, look at this.
We are here.
So beautiful.
That it's separate buildings.
I know.
We started walking up and I saw it separating.
I was like, what?
Yeah, they're three different buildings and they all just look like one from a distance.
I always thought this whole entire time that it was all connected.
It's so pretty. The architecture is incredible.
It's a very, very impressive structure, especially when you come up close to it.
It's just gorgeous. I mean, I'm blown away.
By the way, right behind us over here is a stage.
You can see, yeah, there you go.
They're preparing because this weekend is Australia Day, apparently.
And we were talking to an Uber driver yesterday and he was talking about how
it's kind of a divisive political issue here in Australia.
Like, some people celebrate it as Australia Day and then some people...
Oh shoot, it's getting loud.
Anyways, there's some people that say this is Australia Day and they celebrate that.
And then there's some people who say, well, no, that was an invasion.
There were people here before the British came and colonized it.
It's kind of like the American culture.
Like, that's how Americans, it's kind of divided like that.
Yeah, exactly.
All right, so next up, we're headed right there.
Yes, which is actually so much already.
And it looks so beautiful and lush.
Plus, it's completely free.
Yes, and on the way is our neighborhood.
Or like, on the other end is our neighborhood.
Yeah, we walk through it and on the other side will be like halfway to our neighborhood.
Plus, there is a really amazing lookout spot, supposedly.
It's called, like, Mrs. Macquarie's Chair, I believe.
I'll write it on screen because I don't know how to pronounce it.
But I wanted to check that out.
Here we are, this is the lookout point that I was hearing about.
And wow.
It's gorgeous.
Absolutely breathtaking.
Look at, we're right on the water.
Yeah, and then check out this view.
For those of you who live here, can you please let me know, do you ever get tired of that view?
Or like, I don't understand.
We've filmed it so much today, it's probably like half of the vlog has been the opera house.
It's just that view over and over again.
And the botanic gardens were incredible.
Yeah, they were.
It was so lush and like, it was like a tropical forest.
Sometimes, like, Australia feels like you're just on another planet.
Yeah.
Some of those trees and plants I've never even heard of or seen in my life.
Seen, yeah.
Honestly, Sydney as a whole, just blowing us away today.
Absolutely blowing us away.
This is already proving to be amongst my top five, if not top three cities.
I don't want to jump the gun.
I always do that.
But we do have a month here, so we're going to have a lot of time to flesh that out.
But wow, I'm just so in love with the city already.
But anyways, we are starving, you guys.
We've been running around all day.
Sydney is known to have such an amazing international food scene.
So there's this spot that's in our neighborhood, and it's always so crowded.
And we've been dying to try it out.
So we've got reservations for tonight, and we're so excited.
So we're going to go home, change, and go get some dinner.
Come on.
Good morning, you guys.
We are here at the start of the famous Bondi to Coogee walk.
But we're doing it in reverse.
So Coogee to Bondi, because we want to end up on Bondi Beach.
Yes.
Even though it's a little bit overrated at this point, I'm sure to you Australians.
Bondi Beach is arguably one of the most famous beaches in the entire world.
And for our first Sydney beach day, we wanted to end up there.
But this walk has been arguably the most recommended thing by you guys for us to do
since we arrived here.
So we wanted to start the day off by doing this and end up there.
Hold on tight.
I can smell the shore.
It's right in front of us if we just hold on tight.
This vision that I saw is getting closer every dawn.
We are dreamers of the shore.
Seven years now on this boat and we all know where we belong.
Just wait.
Wait for our home to show on the horizon.
Soon we'll be there.
Hold on tight.
I can smell the shore.
It's right in front of us if we just hold on tight.
This vision that I saw is getting closer every dawn.
We are dreamers of the shore.
When we can't read the sky.
We just sail with the wind that we've got.
And when we're drowning in doubt, just keep on believing.
We are dreamers of the shore.
We're here on Bondi beach.
That was such a beautiful walk.
Yeah, that was amazing.
Thank you guys so much for the recommendation.
We were consistently just blown away by what we were seeing.
It was so beautiful but it made me very hungry.
I know and we are here at Icebergs which is this famous like beach pool type of thing
with swimming pool as you can see right here overlooking the ocean right there.
Pretty incredible honestly and they have a restaurant.
So we made reservations and we're going to grab lunch right now.
Wow, look at that view.
Alright, I would say we have the best seats in the house.
This is so gorgeous.
It's absolutely beautiful.
This view, it's like out of a movie or something.
It really is.
So the way that this menu works here is it's either a two or three course set menu and
you choose your starter, main, and if you do the three course, it's a dessert which
I did three course.
All of the dishes sound and look amazing.
They really do.
Alright, I got the cacio e pepe and you got prosciutto and melon.
Oh and it looks so pretty.
It looks so good.
Wow, it's so good.
This looks amazing.
I need a bite.
Oh my god.
They definitely hand make the pasta in house.
Wow, yummy.
So good.
Cheers.
Sometimes with places like this where it's like a beautiful view right on the beach kind
of thing, the food is just not very good because they don't have to be good.
Here that is not the case.
The food is all amazing.
Alright, I have no idea what this is.
This is just what he recommended for the dessert and I went with it.
Wow.
This whole meal, fantastic.
It's so good.
The craziest thing about Sydney to me right now is that the amount of things that we have
done so far in this video, it doesn't even scratch the surface of what there is to do
here.
There's so much to do.
Yeah, like I feel like we've just been go, go, go and so many amazing things after the
other and it's really just like the 1%.
Barely anything, yeah.
And we have a full month here and I'm worried that we're not even going to remotely touch
everything that you can in the city.
But anyways, guys, look at where we are right now.
We're about to step out onto Bondi Beach.
Wow, I cannot believe I'm saying that.
