Calligraphy Performance: Three Famous Haiku

The 32nd Annual Kaji Aso Studio International Haiku Contest held a virtual presentation of awards on October 18, 2020. The event featured three famous haiku by Basho, Buson, and Issa, along with a calligraphy performance by Michiko Imai, accompanied by Sumie Kaneko's music piece “Evergreen.” This program was supported in part by the Consulate General of Japan in Boston. Additionally, Kaji Aso Studio programming received support from the City of Boston’s Arts and Culture COVID-19 Fund, a grant from the Boston Cultural Council administered by the Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture, and a grant from the Mission Hill / Fenway Neighborhood Trust.
