USA vs Serbia FULL GAME Highlights | July 28, 2024 | Olympic Men’s Basketball Highlights NBA 2K24

When he counts, this is a player who understands when the game is hanging in the balance. He knows it's winning time. Curry gets the bucket. And USA leads by four. This guy is so creative, finishing anywhere near the rim. Stephen Curry doing work inside. Past Dmytrych. Fourth quarter keeps moving right along. Three minutes gone so far. Shot clock at six. That one's not going to go. So USA will take it the other way. Davis, the pass to LeBron. USA moving the ball around. Yes, that goes in. Now it's a six point USA lead. We'll challenge LeBron James and I promise he will respond. Take the bump, yes sir. Past Dmytrych. Here's Pokruszewski. James cover. Kicks it out to Bogdanovich. And the free ball is good. Bogdanovich has got nine points here in the second half. And all of a sudden that three puts them in striking distance, guys. He's had that shot working all night. Yeah, and if he can stay hot from out there, his three point shot could be the tool they use to win this game. To the paint. Here's Curry. And it's wide right. Hits off the rim. Listen, simply put, he's got to finish that. It's not like the defender was right on top of him. Releases. And it's Jokic missing. Now USA with it. They're on a 16 to 5 run here. Now here is Holiday. He's covered closely. And it's slammed in by Davis. And phenomenal movement in that pick and roll. Davis has a sense for where to move after setting that screen. Passes it to Pokruszewski. To the inside. Kicks it out to Bogdanovich. A three-pointer off the mark. USA leading by five. Now Holiday over Jokic. And Holiday with the basket on the assist by LeBron. And just so many skills that Holiday brings. Defense, passing, leadership. So the scoring you get from him feels like a bonus. Bogdanovich against Booker. And they call an illegal screen here. And not the most common you'll see in the NBA. But hard to argue pick wasn't illegal. It is really difficult to get your feet completely set. To stay completely still. It's almost surprising to me that it isn't called more often. The kick out to Holiday. Curry trying to break free. Another three for USA. Inside. Takes advantage. Pass to Bogdanovich. Jokic with it. And it's Anthony Davis with the rebound. Davis has got rebound number 11 for him here tonight. And James throws it down hard. Oh, okay. I guess LeBron wanted that one to sting a little. He put a little extra on that one. Pass to Parker Sepps. Pass to Jokic. Shot clock at two. A shot. No good. So USA will take it the other way. Floats it up for James. Anthony Davis really making a difference here. He's just really a one man wrecking crew down low. And with this timeout they've got to make some adjustments. Because he's been steady inside. And now let's present our new balanced player of the game. Anthony Davis. And in terms of his shooting. This has been one of the more accurate performances we'll ever see. I mean he's been in constant motion. Creating a lot of good looks for himself. But still, even when you're wide open you expect to miss some of the time. And that has not been the case here tonight. This guy has made everything. He sure has given this crowd a treat tonight. This kind of performance only cements his status as a fan favorite. And Booker kicks to Holiday. It's James. It's off the key. And good that time. James has got the lead up to 11 now for USA. Unwilling to let up. Even for a moment. That's his killer instinct. Just fanning the flames. One thing I enjoy is watching players who don't pay attention to the score. You lock in on the moment and play the right way. To the paint. And LeBron throws it down. LeBron James knows a thing or two about affecting winning. Right now he's cooking offensively. So it's the visitors now. 151 left in the fourth quarter. Here's Jokic. A shot missing. Brady that time from Davis. Now USA with it. They're on a 17 to 7 run. Baskett is good. He'll get a chance for one more at the line. We talk often about Steph Curry's knack for scoring through contact. His ability to maintain concentration. Take the hit and finish. Truly a thing of beauty. And guys what do you think about the offensive approach we've seen so far for USA? And guys how about the unselfishness? And all about working that ball around. Shifting the defense. And just seeking out the best shot. I also like how they've played in the painted area. They've made an effort to work on the inside. And convert those chances. Steph Curry. First personal foul. First team foul. Shooting for the away team. Number 9 at the line for 2. And the first one at the line is good. And so he makes both from the line. They can take their time on this possession. It wouldn't be a bad idea. Just give themselves a little bit of a break. Pass to Holliday. And looks like the illegal pick was set. Yep that's right. Beyond the leaning you could see his feet more set on that screen. Easy call. You know he's just leaning a little bit. You try to get away with it. But boy the official all over it. Pass to Jokic. Over Davis. Releases from the wing and drills it. And that mid-range jumper. A big asset for Jokic. Draws defenders away from the bucket. And gets them the spacing they need. Holliday with the 3. And a great assist by Booker. As that one goes in. And once they smell blood in the water. You can see the killer instinct take over. You save your best for last. Tonight they've done that. And then some. Bogdanovich passes to Jokic. Pads in a 7 for 12 now in the game. There you go again. A nice kick out after the D had collapsed on him. 6 second difference between shot and game plan. Holliday looking over the floor. Back to Curry. Fires from deep. Jokic grabs the miss. It's stolen by Davis. Now here's Curry. Curry wins it. An unconfident win and one worth the greater effort. Yeah, that'll be it.
