Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Jogja biasanya dikenal dengan gudeg dan bakpia sebagai oleh-oleh khas. Tapi kini, sebuah toko roti menawarkan opsi alternatif berwujud roti sisir.

Delicia Bakery yang telah berdiri sejak 1989 meramaikan jajanan oleh-oleh Jogja sejak awal pandemi, yakni pada 2020. Hadir dengan Roti Sisir Jogja, nama ini dianggap mudah diingat.

Sebenarnya kami sudah terjun di dunia bakery, roti, kue sejak 1989, tetapi pada saat masa pandemi Corona melanda tahun 2020 awal, membuat kami untuk lebih kreatif dan inovasi lagi sebagai antisipasi dampak pandemi," ujar Margaretha Puspita, pemilik Roti Sisir Jogja kepada Liputan6.com melalui pesan elektronik pada Jumat, 7 Oktober 2022.

Perempuan berusia 39 tahun itu mengungkapkan inspirasi muncul Roti Sisir Jogja dari keinginan menciptakan sesuatu jenis oleh-oleh Jogja yang baru. Banyak orang hanya mengetahui Bakpia atau pun Gudeg sebagai jajanan khas Jogja.

"Kami ingin meramaikan jajanan oleh-oleh Jogja dengan membuat roti sisir cita rasa jadul dengan kemasan modern yang akhirnya bisa diterima semua kalangan karena memang bukan cuma roti dadakan atau ‘roti musiman, tetapi kami mengutamakan kualitas dan menggunakan bahan premium," imbuh Margaretha.

Dinamai roti sisir, itu karena bentuk rotinya memanjang. "Lalu, ada garis-garisnya berjejer-jejer menyerupai sisir, yakni garis-garis dari adonan roti yang menempel satu sama lain, lalu disisir satu per satu, seperti disobek satu per satu untuk diberi filling (isian)," ia menjelaskan.

Delicia Bakery, which has been established since 1989, has been enlivening Jogja's souvenir snacks since the beginning of the pandemic, namely in 2020. Present with Roti Sisir Jogja, this name is considered easy to remember.

"We have actually been involved in the bakery, bread, and cake world since 1989, but when the Corona pandemic hit in early 2020, it made us more creative and innovative in anticipation of the impact of the pandemic," said Margaretha Puspita, owner of Roti Sisir Jogja to Liputan6.com via email on Friday, October 7, 2022.

The 39-year-old woman revealed that the inspiration for Roti Sisir Jogja came from the desire to create a new type of Jogja souvenir. Many people only know Bakpia or Gudeg as typical Jogja snacks.

"We want to enliven Jogja souvenir snacks by making old-school-style roti sisir with modern packaging that can finally be accepted by all groups because it is not just impromptu bread or 'seasonal bread, but we prioritize quality and use premium ingredients," added Margaretha.

It is named roti sisir, because the shape of the bread is elongated. "Then, there are lines in a row resembling a comb, namely lines from the bread dough which stick to each other, then combed one by one, like tearing one by one to be filled," he explained.
