The story of Casper the cat began in Bolu, where the Ginger Animal Rescue team discovered and took care of her. They fed Casper, but one day they realized that her front legs were paralyzed and she was suffering from terrible pain.

Given the seriousness of the situation, the rescue team quickly took Casper to Ankara for an examination. The doctors performed X-rays to determine the cause of her condition. Fortunately, there were no signs of broken or dislocated bones. However, blood test results showed that Casper was positive for Toxoplasma, a parasite that could cause serious health problems.

Casper fell into a critical and painful state, leaving everyone distressed and worried about her fate. Despite their best efforts, the treatments in Ankara did not yield the desired results. In desperation and hope for a better treatment, the rescue team decided to transfer Casper to Izmir for further care.

There, doctors diagnosed that although Casper's front legs were paralyzed, she still had the ability to sense deep sensations like position, passive movement, vibration, and deep pain. This gave hope that Casper might still have a chance to walk if treated correctly.
