The persecution of practitioners of Falun Gong should not be tolerated by the rest of the world when we bring up other human rights concerns like the Uyghurs and Tibet to democracy more broadly. And friends, today today I stand with you here in Martin Place against the monster called Chinese communism. Because of my faith, I was persecuted four times in prison for nine years and nine months. I was arrested four times, imprisoned for a total of 108.5 months. Over nine years of my youth was spent in prison. I suffered from brutal persecution like hell. This is Martin Place in downtown Sydney. Falun Gong practitioners are holding a rally here, demanding the CCP to immediately stop the 25-year long persecution of Falun Gong. The movement initiated by Falun Gong practitioners of quitting the CCP and its affiliated associations has greatly awakened the political conscience of the Chinese people, awakened the spirit of resistance of the Chinese people. They have played such a huge role and deserve all the credit! Many people, thanks to the movement of Quitting the CCP, have awakened. which has made them understand the evilness of the CCP and has taught them to draw a clear line with the CCP. I think getting that information out to people is really critical. being able to run this arrangement to try and get signatures on board to be able to push up for the federal government to step up. I think that's ideal. We hope the Australian Government after passing the motion to voice their support, as the first step, after that they could also consider passing a similar Falun Gong Protection Act (like the US). (Australian Government) needs to put these universal human values above business benefits. By doing so, they will have the determination to resist the Chinese Communist tyranny. The communist government pretends it doesn't need us anymore. It does. And it very well knows that if the West took a firm stand against it, it will be a big trouble. After sunset, Falun Gong practitioners light up candles to commemorate fellow practitioners who lost their lives during the 25-year persecution. I like the leadership that in America they have already commenced on and I wish that the path continues on to spread across to Australia as well as all the many countries of our entire world.
