(Serie A 2023/2024): Highlights ATALANTA - AS ROMA

Koopmeiners takes the corner, Ederson tried to meet it, and that's Skamaker now. Paredes did well to shut down the angle. Better first touch from Skamaker, that's a lovely ball through. This is Charles de Ketelare. Didn't he take it well? He's staying in Bergamo next season and he scores a big goal tonight against Roma to perhaps put La Dea on course for Champions League qualification. Skamaker for Koopmeiners, it could be number two here, De Ketelare. He's got another one, but he points in the direction of Turn Koopmeiners. It was he who teed it up and Atalanta are running riot against Roma. De Ketelare has found space. Charles de Ketelare one way and then the other, but he's caught the upright inches away from the hat-trick. Ruggeri with the cross, Hatteboer, and Zvila had to be on his toes there. Koopmeiners, it's off the post, twice they struck that upright. Time and space for Pashalic and again tipped over by Zvila. This is Bove for Lukaku and now Tammy Abraham who's missed the target, but he was caught by Derone, it's a penalty. Big moment this for Roma. Pellegrini squeezes it past Carnesechi and Roma are back to within just one goal of Atalanta. On it goes Frangelino and here's Pellegrini, could save that from Carnesechi. Clever ball for Abraham, that's a good cross. Romelu Lukaku, Carnesechi makes the save. Pellegrini thought that was a free kick, it's not. Koopmeiners, they can kill it off now. Lukman will surely score, Koopmeiners doesn't. It was tighter than it needed to be but Charles de Ketelare with a match-winning first half brace and it's finished at Gewiss Stadium. Atalanta 2, Roma 1.
