Rising Stars: Dino Prizmic Joins Blonde Federer & Dimitrov As A Rotterdam Wildcard

I need to clap or...? It's a really big thing for me to be part of this tournament. I think for young players, we learn every time a lot on the court, also outside the court. And yeah, I just want to play my best game. I'll just change my stuff, okay? You want to find new talent, because you know the players are not going to be there forever and people like to see new faces. Seeing a future top 10 or top 20 playing here, you know, with a wild card, being young, it's something great to see. Big names, yeah, it's a pleasure to be part of this tournament, definitely. We're helping getting these new faces in the tournaments, hopefully. And you like to build a relationship also, so that they remember that in the beginning of the career you were there to help them. Virgil Federer came many times, especially in the beginning. At the time, I was more concerned of trying to make a breakthrough onto the Tour. I wasn't top 100 yet. I still had blonde hair. It was still growing out. I love looking back at my run here in 99. It was just a wonderful experience. I always didn't consider Rotterdam as one of my favorite tournaments on the Tour. Now we've had Tsitsipas come many years. Yannick Sinner. We've had a few players who became really, really well. I think it was officially my first HP main draft match ever. So yeah, it's a bit of history for me here. And yeah, love to come back here every year. Rotterdam has a special place in my heart for me, because I got the first opportunity to showcase what I could do on an ATP Tour event. And finally won my first title here two years later. He played against Tsitsipas. So both of the wildcards, they played each other in the final. So it was like exactly what we ever hoped for. And it all came together. Yeah, quite a lot of firsts, I guess, here in Rotterdam. So good memories for me. Still only 21 years of age. We've done the trips for me, yeah. Some fish, meat, and that's it. Easy before the training, yeah. My success for this week, I just want to enjoy every moment to see where I am and what I need to improve. Yeah, we're very excited to have Dino here. I saw him play against Djokovic. Great prospect, great player already. Djokovic has always been my hero. After that, I know I can play with everyone. I don't think he's going to need our help next year to get into the main draw here. It's a great opportunity also, especially when you're young, to see the ATP Tour also from inside. This tournament makes some incredible choices of the best young players who are trying to make the breakthrough in the top 100 or in the top 50. So it's really nice to see. These kind of players, they're already playing well. And hopefully in one or two years, they won't need our help anymore. And they'll remember like, hey, Rotterdam was there to help me begin my career. And I'd like to come back here. For this year, it's my goal to reach 100. For everyone, it's to play on a big stadium, to maybe win a Grand Slam. And to be part of this tournament. Yeah, it's a really good feeling.
