Xiao Qi Ji, our 3 year old bear, is now considered a sub-adult rather than a cub. Sub-adulthood starts when a cub is separated from their mother until they reach seual maturity. But if there is a full pool available, and Qi Ji gets a case of the friskies (which happens almost on a daily basis), you'll see him tumbling down the hill, tumbling out of & bouncing in the trees, doing gymnastics on the hammock structure, splashing in the pool, and interacting with his enrichment with unbridled joy!
