Hello, hello, hello.
Welcome back to Exotic Wine Travel.
I'm your host, Matthew Horky.
So today is kind of a, not today, this whole week is kind of a fun side project because
for two reasons.
Number one, Shireen loves Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
And number two, the film Sideways is what made me want to like wine when I never had
drank a drop of wine in my life.
So yes, I have to admit, it's a little cheesy, but I am a big fan boy.
We're here in Santa Barbara County.
We're actually in Santa Rita Hills.
This is the Foley Estate.
And we're going to be tasting wine for the next week here.
Now I'm super excited.
We just actually had a couple glasses of Pinot Noir from the hitching post, the restaurant
that was in the film Sideways.
A lot of interesting things are happening here in Santa Barbara County.
Actually, even though it's been known for Pinot Noir, Rhone Varieties, Vionier, Syrah,
I've seen Mouvedre are making some really fantastic wines here.
So we're going to shoot a lot of videos.
We're going to try to give you the inside scoop of what's happening here.
And at the same time, you're going to see me acting kind of giddy like a schoolboy because
I'm so excited that we're here.
So stay tuned.
