Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 vs Italy 🇮🇹 | Highlights | FIBA OQT 2024 Puerto Rico

Small backcourt, Alvarado and Waters. Waters, step back. It's cold-blooded. He has a size advantage on Alvarado, but not known for his back-to-the-basket. He'll attack instead. Good girl step to five-two. That's tough. That's tough. He ran that spade action. A little bit too handsy. And a steal by Ricci. Ricci goes up. And it's rejected by Toro. Got it now. He's fired up. Alvarado responds with a three. He's a real first time to shine on the international stage. And here he is again, diving inside. And error with the three. Better be manual. Couple jabs, now series of fakes. Great change of speed to find a pass for the dunk. And Italy rolling now after that timeout. Waters comes away with it. Puts on the speed, splits the D. He was knocked down to the floor. No call. So Newt lays it in. It looked good and you have to take it. There's no rotation over there. Great pass. Speaking of great passes, Waters with the bounce to Condi. Maybe that gets him going. Molinara has a big mismatch. Ricci puts it on the deck. He's open for three now, Ricci. Splashes it home and says calm down. All screen for Alvarado for three. Waters just got it in and threw it away. Had to get it inbounds. Sometimes it's better to just take a dead ball turn, isn't it? It would have been absolutely, but they've got to give him a target. Because it winds up being a dump for Melly on the other end. Waters, not afraid to pull from there. Knifing his way through. But down for three. Shot clock expiring. That is tough. Alvarado back on the floor. Has it. Mannion watching him. Sweeps through. Gets to the lane. Counted and a foul. Ortiz clears. Gave it away. Spisu to the rack. Counted and a foul. Italy still alive. As Alvarado has it. Put the nail in the coffin. D3! It's three off the mark. And that's how we'll end this basketball game.
