James H. White - The Devil is Red (Official Audio)
Guitarist Vitaliy Tkachuk is from Ukraine. When we were working on the track, he asked me, “What is this song about—“The Devil is Red”?
“Communism,” I replied.
“You know, it still exists,” he said. He would know. He’s been living through this brutal Russia-Ukraine War.
Vitaliy poured his soul into this track. The electric guitar wails —it cries, it bleeds. The song is a journey of opposites—swampy and dusty, epic and intimate, tragic and hopeful.
The verses are for you and for our time here together.
The choruses are about General George Washington. He guided us during the Revolutionary War. He still guides us today… to the Light on the Hill.
Join us in this fight against tyranny… the fight against communism.
God bless.

The Devil is Red
The Devil is Red
The Red lie was said
Don’t trade your rest
This is the test
I see
The Light on the hill
The General
Kneels before the war
To align our will
The Red Book was read
The Red Book mislead
Turned ‘em from belief
The Devil
The thief
I see
The Light on the hill
The General
Kneels before the war
To align our will
I see
The Light on the hill
The soldiers
Kneel before the Lord
To align our will
To align our will
The Devil is red
The Red lie was said
We will not rest
‘Till the Devil
Is dead
