Hi everyone, I'm Kate Wu. Welcome to my channel. In this video, I'm going to show you how to paint these orchids. Let's get started. To start the first stroke, avoid stroke. Start here. Stable. Test. And then lift it up slowly. So you can create this Thicker. Middle and then pointy close. So I've moved up the Camera so they can see better. So this is the first stroke. I'm going to start the second one. The second stroke will start from here. To create this Slit of eye. Third one Will be a bit longer. And then the fourth will be a short one here. Fifth one here. And then a tiny one there. So this is the basic form of the Orchid. The beauty of Chinese cymbidium orchids Is that it comes in almost all colors. And a lot of them actually are combinations of more than one color. I personally prefer Light green with a bit of red combination. And it works well with Chinese painting. So take some yellow and mix some blue. And when you're happy with this color, the shades of light green, then get a bit of red to start.
