Veteran off road motorcycle journalist Andrew Clubb, Editor of Australian Adventure Bike Magazine gives us insight into his take on the off road motorcycle industry through the lens of his 30 years plus experience. Lots of news this month with EICMA on the horizon when a heap of new bikes will be launched and Clubby discusses his predictions and dream list. BUT THE BIG HEADLINE: DUCATI DESERT X LAUNCH. Clubby and I have just come back from the Australian Press launch of the Ducati Desert X so we start with some action. I nearly take out two of these Desert Xers! We're on the bikes for around 800 kms in varying terrain, I get to jump it, power slide it and brake heavily in the dirt and take it for a steep hill climb and report on my experiences as they happen. We also witnessed the damage done to these bikes at a low speed and moderate speed fall. We'll show you the damage and discuss the obvious remedy.
