(Bundesliga 2023/2024): Highlights Hoffenheim - Bayern München

And Hoffenheim will play Champions League football next season. I'm your match commentator, Kevin Hatchard, alongside maybe former Stuttgart striker Sean Dundee, an early chance here and a fine save by Oliver Baumann to deny Matisse. The informed Alphonso Davies has been playing well of late. Managed to squeeze that cross in. Müller helped it across. And there is the opening goal. Matisse Tell with the header. And no surprise that Thomas Müller on his big day, his record equaling appearance, gets an early assist. I used to love playing against Bayern and I'm sure they are too today. Here is Tell as you can see what he does for the table. Could be another goal. There is another goal. Alphonso Davies, a rip roaring start from Bayern München. Two goals in the first six minutes. And is Hoffenheim's European dream fading fast? Yeah, it is. Well, they've given the ball away here, Bayern, and an opportunity for Krammerich still going. Can he get the shot away and swept in? And there's a goal back. Maximilian Bayer in his big week, a call up to Germany's Euro squads and now a goal back against Bayern München. It's clear to me the chapter is over. And it is what it is. Here is Krammerich. Only half away. Bayer has done really well. And Manuel Neuer forced into action. That was outstanding. It's about trying to make sure that they at least finish in the top seven, because if Freiburg were to take the lead in Berlin against Union, that's nil nil at the moment. But if they were to do that, then it's a totally different scenario. Hoffenheim could drop to eighth. Neatly done and the drive was brilliantly kept out. He's amazing in that regard. Whenever he makes a save, parries it so far. It better be. That's a nice turn. 2-2. Andre Krammerich delivers at some personal costs. And Hoffenheim's Champions League dream is still alive. Krammerich's delivery. Way open Meccano, not very far in the shot. Gathered by Neuer. So you can see there nothing that Hoffenheim could do now. We'll see them catch up at the moment, but they're at least set for seventh. Here's Davies. And now Müller. Oh, that was his moment to celebrate his landmark occasion with a goal. Absolutely. This is about Thomas Müller about him, isn't it really? But yeah, Krammerich with his technique, he's dangerous from any area on the field. Neurosex delivery. Bischoff trying to make it count. And the shot driven in. Andre Krammerich. What a comeback. And Bayern are in danger here of throwing away second place. There it is. Stuttgart would be second above Bayern. And they're in trouble again here. Is there a chance for another one? Hat-trick. Andre Krammerich yet again delivers. On matchday 34, this is when he comes alive. Had a good season, seven goals in the league this term. He's done his bit. And Hoffenheim have beaten Bayern München. And Bayern are edged out in the race for second. They have finished third in the Bundesliga this season.
