I spent 24 Hours on a plane! 30 hour travel vlog!

Good, wow, that is, good evening everybody. It is, what's happening? What's the date? Tuesday. It's Tuesday. Nick and I are off to New Zealand for the week. I'm extremely excited. I have never ever traveled this far before. I've been to America and China, but we are taking an 11 hour flight to Singapore. We've got a three and a half hour layover and then another like 11 hour flight. So we're basically spending a full 24 hours on a plane, if not possibly longer. I don't really want to do this. It's a long flight, but I do have Nicholas with me. So it should be, should be fun. We've got our laptops. There's movies on the plane. There's in-flight entertainment, so we should be good. Yeah, I'm just so excited. So yeah, I don't know when I'll catch up with you, but I'd assume I might be on the plane and then it will be a good old vlog of 24 hours of me sitting on a plane and whatever I get up to. So we have been through security. We have bought, yeah, I got stopped at security. Oh no, what have I got on my arm? Black dust on my sleeve. Got stopped at security, had to go through my bag, but all is well, all is good. Then I bought some stuff in Boots. I ran out of Lizelle yesterday. I've got like the tiniest bit left and I thought, oh, I'll just get some at the airport, but this airport doesn't have Lizelle. So I've had to buy number seven. I don't know how that skincare is gonna treat my face, hopefully okay, but I don't have my Lizelle. But when I bought the number seven, the woman was like, are you on a connecting flight? And I was like, yes. So she had to like seal it all up so that when I go through security next, they know that it's a sealed bag and I bought it duty-free, confusion. But yeah, we have about, I think, what, what? 10, 15 minutes, 10, 15 minute and our flight should come up on the departure boards. And then we're going for an 11 hour flight. Sat at the check-in for getting on a flight and the intercom came on and went, excuse me, could Nicholas come up? And me and Nick were like, well, it said his full name, but I won't disclose that. So like, Nick can come up to the security desk and we were like, why are they calling Nick up? But they've just, yeah, they've come to get you or like you haven't paid for your flight or something. But they basically just changed our seats because we were both sat in the middle of two other people, like in the middle. And so now they've moved us both to sit next to a window or in an aisle seat, so we're just by ourselves, which is much better and we're much happier with. I don't know why that happened. I have no clue how that happened, but we got called and they changed us. So very happy about that. We're popping to the loo, not that you care. And then I think we're boarding. ♪♪♪ Tucked the outside of the plane for luck. Jumped on our flight and we've got nice spacious seats. As in, look at all this space and then all this leg room that I've got. It's great. We also got given a little pillow, which is really comfy and a blanket. And then I'm going to show you around my little seating area. I've got my bag under here, but obviously this can come down for your feet, but I've just put lots of stuff under here. And then this bit can actually pop out if you click this. Boom, little leg bit there. Down here, there's also a plug so that you can plug things in and charge them. There's little compartments for you to put your phone in during takeoff and landing. Then these came and they're massive complimentary earphones or headphones, which is great. We have a little screen with a USB charger and I think this pulls out. Whoa, hello. So there's that. This thing here, you can move around and it's a light so you can use it while reading. We've got all of these settings, which we haven't gone through, but I'd assume they're for your headphones. I think this does the back rest, but you're not allowed to use that until you take off. And then in here is the table. There's room for cups. Nick has found the menu. So this is what we're getting. You get a pick of that. Oh, so we can choose? So we've got three choices. Oh, I'll choose. Oh, I don't know what I fancy. Oh, but you get Haagen-Dazs ice cream. That's a laundry item. Basically, we are flying premium economy. So it's a little bit nicer than economy. Not much. I think we've just got like more leg room and a little bit more space, but I'm enjoying it. It's not first class. It's not business class, but I'm having a whale of a time. It's a lot more space than I'm used to. We've got all the added little extras and goodies. We are having food on this flight, but I don't know whether that's economy too, but I know we're getting food. Oh, so we've got a hot towel coming around. Wait. Thank you. Got a hot towel. Very hot towel. Oh, that is lovely. That's lovely. Isn't that? I would wash my face, but I have makeup on, so it's maybe a little lighter. Give myself a dab. Okay, I haven't done this yet, but I think this actually pops out. Oh my gosh. Oh my goodness. It's a little remote control. Oh my God. I can't wait to tell Nick. Got little cherry drops for the flight. They're my favourite little take off sweets. So, we've got it set up, and I think we're going to try and work out how to play each other, but I don't really know how to do it. Oh no, that's not the right sign. Wait. Okay, we're getting ready for take off, so they've dimmed the lights. We're trying to work out how to play Tetris. We've got our little remotes here, and we're trying to work out how to play Tetris. Two player, which is so funny, because we're literally sat next to each other, but we're getting excited about playing a game with each other, when we can just talk. Dinner is here. We've got a prawn cocktail for starter. I'm not too sure if I'll eat that. I got a little plain roll. Nick got a seeded roll, didn't you? Nicholas got a little seeded roll. What's this? They're freezing cold. Oh, they are cold. And then we've got a chicken Kiev. Both of us have chicken Kiev. And then we've got a little pot of water, which is actually really cute. Wait, let me get this out. A little yogurt pot of water to put in here. And then I just got a little orange juice. And my knives and forks are here. Oh my gosh, they're actually metal. Thought I'd show you my little meal. We don't have wifi at the moment, but I'm pretty sure a chicken Kiev is battered with garlic inside. This is just a chicken fillet. Let me know if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is just a chicken fillet. Dinner is done. I'm not too sure what the plan is. UK time, it's like half past 11. Singapore time is like half past seven. So we don't know whether to stay up and then go to sleep in Australian time, which would be on the next flight, or whether to go to sleep now. I just function. You can choose to learn another language while you're on board. I don't know what the options are. German, Japanese. Oh my God, this is so cool. You can learn a new language. I wonder how much of a language you can learn in 11 hours. Mini Haagen-Dazs has arrived. It's cookies and cream. It's the perfect little size. I'm going to eat this. I'm going to put a movie on. And then I think we're going to go to sleep. The space between me and the window is pretty far. And I kind of wanted to leave on the window, but it's really far away. It's slippery. So I don't know how I'm going to get to sleep. This seat bends. So maybe I could... I don't know how the sleeping is going to happen. I will try my best. We'll see what happens. What are you doing? See you later. Flight socks on, which means now when I put my shoes on, I look like a dad wearing socks and sandals. Oh no. I did a wee-wee. And the worst part of being on a plane. So we did have... We had a croissant, but I've eaten it with some fresh fruit. I'm just about to pour a little bit of milk. My tea. This. And then we have a strawberry yogurt. And I got poached egg and roast potatoes and sausage. That looks pretty good. I don't like that one. I know, I look so bad. In Singapore. This airport is so nice. Like they have... It's fancy. It's really pretty. They have a massive Louis Vuitton shop with like LED lights and then Chanel shops. And it's really, really nice here. But we've just touched down. I think we've got about two to three hours. I think it's what? It's a half seven. And our check-in is a half nine. So we've got like two hours and then the plane takes off at 20 past 10. So we've got a little while, but we do need to get to gate B. And I think we might have to take... I think we've got to take a transfer there. So I'm not too sure, but we're currently just at the airport. Nick's going to try and find the wifi password. And then we'll probably head on over. I think I need something to eat. That flight was long. It was actually 13 hours. I said it was 11. It wasn't. It was 13. And we got delayed like landing. So we were just flying around like this above the airport for probably half an hour, 45 minutes. So yeah, that was not fun. I felt sick. Horrible. We've got a couple of hours and then we're on another flight, which I think is 11 hours or 10 hours and 55 minutes. So sit down for a bit. There's a street of food up there. Oh, there's Singapore street food up here. So we might go up there. We'll have a little look around. For us, it's technically what time, Nick? We are on quarter past 12 in the afternoon. Quarter past 12 in the afternoon. And we probably both slept. Well, I think I probably slept for like four hours. Nick maybe slept for two. So I really hope Nick gets to sleep on the next flight. We'll see how it goes. I think on the next flight, I'm going to just take my makeup off and put a face mask on. I wanted to do it on that flight, but I realised once we got to the airport earlier that I'm not going to see my big bag again, which has got all my makeup in it. So I figured I'd just leave my makeup on now so that I look half decent at least around this airport. On the next flight, I'll do a face mask. And then when I get off that flight, I'm going to burp. And then when I get off that flight, I can put a little, little dusting of makeup on. Yeah, tired. It was a very, very long flight. Felt sick towards the end, but we're done. One down, one to go. I've just realised my hair's been like this for like 36 hours. I put it up. I wore it all day. I went to bed in it. I woke up. I wore it all yesterday. I got on a flight with it. I'm going to wear it until tomorrow. It's going to be in my hair for literally like four days. It's not bad. Not bad at all. It looks really good. Sweet corn, ice. We got some little Chinese char siu buns. They're Nick's favourites. Let's see how they go. Okay, I'll have one too. What did you do? You bit me cheek. Cheers, yummy. Okay, so we've now got, I'm not too sure what this is. I don't think we ordered it. So I think it's just soup. Like just a plain soup. And then we've got three different meats with noodles and some veggies. And it looks very, very yummy. So there's a drink in the UK. Who makes it? Rubicon. There's a drink in the UK by Rubicon. And it's called guanabana. You can only get it some places. They always have Rubicon orange juice and mango juice, but rarely guanabana. Guanabana is delicious. And I believe guanabana is made from soursop. So we found this bowl. How insane does this look? And it's a soursop bowl with lots of other things. So we just thought we'd try it. It looked like he put rice in the bottom and then flavoured it and then put soursop on top. And then some other stuff. That looks dodgy. Oh, that looks good. Okay. Good. That's guanabana. Is it, yeah? Oh my gosh, it's delicious. That's sweet. That's guanabana, isn't it? That's so good. It's really sweet, that. There's a hole in the floor. I'm not gonna go for it then. Nick and I can't work out whether it's raining outside or this is a sprinkler system. Because it looks a little bit like there's a roof in there and plants. So it could be sprinklers. I think it's for butterflies. Yes, look, it says butterfly garden. This is a tropical butterfly garden. Oh my goodness. Wow, it's so hot in here. My feet are getting wet. Wow. Oh my gosh. Our plane's gonna be delayed because it's fuzzy weather. Oh my goodness. This is so pretty. Basically an indoor butterfly area with like tropical rainforest sounds and it's raining in here. However, it does say... Yeah, however, it does say... It does like speak lightning and everything. It does say that the butterflies are active from 8 a.m. till 5 p.m. And it's currently like 10 o'clock at night. So we won't be seeing any butterflies, but this is so cool. I think these are cocoons waiting to hatch the butterflies. Oh my gosh. We walked down and you can actually go out this way. So we wanted to walk through, but this whole area is just pouring with rain. So we're just gonna walk back up the stairs and we'll go back up the stairs and then down the escalators. Well, this is the best airport I've ever been to. We just went in a little tropical island. It was so hot. And my legs got soaked and I'm wearing sliders or slides, whichever you prefer calling them. Flingos. No. And so my feet are also kind of soaked, but that was amazing. I just wish we were here between eight and five so we could have seen the butterflies because that would have been really, really nice. We head to our gate now. So we're going to B2. We're gonna jump on a new flight. Right, we've come through security. We're now at our gate. We do have almost an hour. You can see the flashing lightning in the background from the butterfly sanctuary. Mr. Nicholas has passed out. Guess his plane has been delayed hours. So I think maybe it is really thunder and lightning outside. I don't know if it is just in that little tropical sanctuary or if it is outside, but they've just put an announcement and said that all ground staff have been... No, what did they say? All ground... What? They basically said that we can't fly. They'll let us know 10 minutes before boarding, but they don't know when that will be. We're an hour delayed and I've got another half an hour delay until we think it might take off. So this is our menu for this flight and I cannot decide between the mains because they all look so good. And then we've got an apple cinnamon cake. I'm excited for this. And then I think we get... Oh no, wrong page. I think we get these if we fancy it. And then we get breakfast in hours to come. Ooh, hey Nick, you get a dim sum. Yeah, we can have that. I just might get scrambled egg with a croissant. Nick and I just smashed heads together and he thinks that I'm gonna get a black eye. So that's good. Dinner has arrived. We've got... What is this? This looks like a prawn salad. Like shrimp vermicelli, I think. Then I went ahead and got the char siu with rice. Oh, this looks delicious. Oh my goodness. Yes, please. So I've got some char siu pork with some rice and some veggies. The apple cinnamon sliced with vanilla sauce. I do not know what this is. Oh, I think this is chili sauce. Butter, cheddar cheese, a little roll, a little muffin, crackers, and a cup of tea. I got lots to eat. What are you doing, Jess? I'm going to try and do eye drops because my eyes are irritated, but I'm not very good at eye drops. It's all right, leave one. My nose is running now. Hey, you just said you'd have that, didn't you? I'm going to do the other one. What was that? Mr. Know-it-all. Oh, I can't see it. I can't get it in my eye. It's so good. I'm gonna waste that. So I've got some little Johnson's cleansing wipes. So I'm going to take my makeup off, and then I've got a little face mask, Deep Sea Mud, which I should have really thought about and got a peel-off mask because that would be better, but we're doing a muck mask on a plane. Here we go, look. It's pretty, and it's bright, isn't it? Crisps has arrived. Look how good that is from the air pressure. Look at my new high school. I know what you're thinking. I've got too much time on my hands. I'm literally on a 10-hour flight. I have nothing else to do. Ah, look, it's all me. Yay. My face is all red. Breakfast is here. I feel like all we've been doing is just eating and sleeping. Let me show you breakfast. Got some fruit, a croissant, we've got some yogurt. I got myself a coffee, and then in here, don't know how to open this. We should have some scrambled egg. Dun, dun, dun, dun, dun. Ooh. Potato scrambled egg, sausage, and tomato. We are almost done. I think we're gonna start descent in 10 minutes. We have been on the plane for so long. So that's basically, I'm pretty sure it's over 24 hours on a plane that we've done over the past day and a half. Didn't enjoy it. I'm not gonna lie. I'm tired. My bum hurts from sitting down, but I'm currently watching. We made it. 24 hours on a plane, done.
