Hi, this is Daniel DiTurro. If you like spicy foods, this simple recipe takes ranch dressing
to another level. To make one cup, you'll need one cup of homemade or prepared ranch dressing.
Using full fat prepared or homemade ranch dressing will have about twice the calories and sodium
of my reduced fat homemade version. The only other ingredient is your favorite hot chili sauce.
I use between one to two teaspoons per cup of dressing. Adjust the amount to your taste.
Add the chili sauce to the ranch dressing and stir to thoroughly combine. One teaspoon of chili sauce
gives ranch dressing a pale pink color. Taste the mixture and add more chili sauce if desired.
If you find it's too spicy for your taste, reduce the heat by adding more ranch dressing.
Nutrition value for a two tablespoon serving will vary depending on the type of ranch dressing used.
It can range from as little as 65 to 130 calories or more. Prepared dressings are usually
higher in sodium. The yogurt in my homemade ranch dressing provides a little extra protein.
