In one way or another, the different types of huskies are a product of a development process that exceeded over 3,000 years, and their ancestors have been serving humans for over 9,000 years!

This breeding process began in Siberia, by a people who formed the breed to not just perform specific tasks needed but to be able to do so through the most savage, cold temperatures on the planet.

What Make a Husky Type Breeds?

The Laika breed is largely understood to have played a large part of the Husky’s lineage, followed by the mixing of a Spitz type of breed.

Both the Laika and the Spitz used are native to Siberia and were used for thousands of years by the Chukchi people.

Lesser known is the discovery of wolf genetics deep in the Siberian Husky’s past Which helps to explain their similar coat.

American varieties of sled dogs do not have that extra “Wolf” element in their background, which is strange when their coats of fur are considered, being similar to a wolf’s appearance.

In this video, we gonna talk about the 13 different husky breeds.
