平武報恩寺大雄寶殿是該寺的中心建築，面寬五間計28.36米，進深四間加披簷計20.14米，總面積571.17平方米。殿高19.56米，為重簷歇山頂建築，屋面覆蓋綠色琉璃瓦。殿前有寬闊的月台和拜台，檯面墁鋪方石板，四周環繞青石雕花欄桿。
大殿內部裝潢內容豐富，殿內牆上滿繪壁畫。面闊三間的石造須彌座佛壇上供奉「三世佛」。正中的佛像前，供有「今日皇帝萬萬歲」的九龍牌位一道，高約兩公尺。

The main hall of Pingwu Baoen Temple is the central building of the temple. It is 28.36 meters wide with five rooms, 20.14 meters deep with four rooms and eaves, and has a total area of ​​571.17 square meters. The hall is 19.56 meters high, with a double eaved hip roof and green glazed tiles on the roof. There is a wide platform and worship platform in front of the hall, with square stone slabs on the platform and bluestone carved railings around it.
The interior decoration of the hall is rich, and the walls are covered with murals. The "Three Buddhas" are enshrined on the stone Sumeru Buddha altar with a width of three rooms. In front of the Buddha statue in the middle, there is a nine-dragon tablet with the words "Long Live the Current Emperor", which is about two meters high.
On the back of the hall, there is also a wall sculpture with an area of ​​125.3 square meters.
