Net Quick Fix number one don't say this box isn't enough big for all the books instead say this box isn't big enough for all the books the word enough goes after adjectives like big big enough after adverbs and after verbs but it goes before nouns so we would say are there enough chairs for everyone and not chairs enough Quick Fix number two don't say I can't believe how much stubborn he is instead say I can't believe how stubborn he is use how much and how many before nouns for example how many children do you have have how much coffee do you drink but before adjectives like stubborn and before adverbs we use just how I can't believe how stubborn he is Quick Fix number three don't say I passed the test but some of the others students failed instead say I passed the test but some of the other students failed or I passed the test but some of the others failed adjectives before nouns are always singular in English even if the noun is plural so we say other students not others students alternatively we can use others by itself and it is implied or understood that we're talking about other students or other people who took the test Quick Fix number four don't say reading in English is more easier than listening instead say reading in English is easier than listening easier is already a comparative adjective easy easier so there is no need for more we only use more to make comparatives of longer words like more comfortable more expensive more interesting if we want to add some extra emphasis we could say reading in English is much easier than listening Quick Fix number five don't say I like very much these lessons instead say I like these lessons very much or I really like these lessons try to avoid putting anything between a verb like and its direct object these lessons so we can put very much at the end of the sentence or alternatively we can add emphasis by saying I really like these lessons I hope you really like my lessons to continue learning with me come join my 200 common errors in English course because when you learn about mistakes it's much easier to avoid them [Music]
