In recent years, it has been very difficult for Chinese university graduates to find a job.
Unemployment rates are at an all-time high.
Unemployment means that unemployment has become a fact.
Today, we are going to look at the employment situation of Chinese university students.
China's economic downturn in recent years.
Unemployment rates are at an all-time high.
Among the unemployed, the unemployment rate of young people is particularly severe.
The unemployment rate of 16 to 24-year-olds rose to 21% in June last year,
which means that less than one in five people is unemployed.
The 21% unemployment rate is a data that makes the CCP feel embarrassed.
Therefore, the authorities chose to suspend the announcement of the unemployment rate of young people.
At the same time, they have re-adjusted the calculation method
to exclude young people who are looking for a job during school.
However, the unemployment rate of young people is still disappointing.
In March this year, it was up to 15.3%.
Young people who have graduated from university are facing a very difficult problem to find a job.
And the police are getting more and more serious.
It is possible that more than one-third of the graduates will lose their jobs.
A post on social media said that
at a recruitment meeting in Wuhan,
a company recruits a new manager,
but only the graduates of Tsingying University.
The monthly salary is only $1,000, which is about $140.
June 7 and 8 are the high school days in mainland China.
The data released by the Chinese Communist Party shows
that the number of high school applicants in China reached 13.42 million this year,
which is 510,000 more than last year.
This is the first time in China's history that the number of high school applicants has exceeded 13 million.
He said,
next month there will be more than 10 million students coming to work with us,
which means there will be 10 million more people waiting in line for employment.
This student said,
most of our graduates are still unemployed.
We still have to work with graduates from the second, third, and even fourth years of university.
Gradually, we will have more and more annual labor.
We are just graduates,
we are security guards,
we are street vendors working in factories.
We are post-00s.
We thought that if we worked hard, we could live a good life.
But when we graduated from university and entered society,
we realized that it was useless to go to university.
Zhou Weiwei graduated from Hunan University of Technology,
just graduated and came to Shanghai to apply for a job.
He wants to find a full-time job.
He lives in a hotel called the Application Station.
The name of the hotel is prepared for university graduates.
Due to the price and economic situation,
a lot of university graduates come here one after another.
A house can accommodate 6 to 8 people.
Due to the limited funds in the wallet,
he must find a job as soon as possible to support himself.
Just when he was about to graduate,
a large-scale corporate recruitment meeting was held in Shanghai.
Hundreds of companies have set up job positions here.
Every day, tens of thousands of young people flock to the venue.
Zhou Weiwei has been in the venue for a long time,
and finally found a company he likes.
He took out his resume very confidently.
He didn't think that the recruiter would ask him if he knew how to make animation.
He said he had never learned,
but he was eliminated.
In a day's time,
Zhou Weiwei interviewed several companies,
but they all failed.
Most companies don't want to hire new people.
In this situation,
they are even more reluctant to spend time on talent training.
Time passed day by day,
a month passed,
and Zhou Weiwei still couldn't find a job.
One day, he made four calls.
An advertising company invited him to an interview.
At the interview site,
he took out some designs that he was proud of when he was in college,
hoping to get the approval of the interviewer.
But the interviewer refused him in the end.
He collected his information bitterly.
Failure made him depressed,
and bad news came from the venue.
It turned out that Shanghai was going to hold a boarding house meeting.
The government asked the venue to move out the house
and let the board members live there.
This hurt the students who applied for jobs.
Not long after,
Zhou Weiwei saw an advertisement of a computer production company.
This company prioritizes students who have just graduated.
He was just right for the job.
He held on to his last hope to go to the interview.
It turned out that there were more than 600 students in the interview.
The company only hired 10 people.
One day later, he was eliminated.
He decided to end his career in Shanghai.
He went back to his dormitory,
packed up his luggage and got ready to go home.
In two months,
he went to 21 corporate interviews,
interviewed more than 30 companies.
All failed.
This made him realize the cruelty of reality.
A university student who graduated from Guangzhou said
his salary was only $2,500.
Many people spend $2,500 a month without any concept.
He briefly introduced the life of the lower class.
First of all, the house he rented in Guangzhou was the cheapest.
It was $500 a month.
Can you imagine how hard it is to live in a $500 house in Guangzhou?
Breakfast must be below $5,
lunch must be less than $5,
and dinner must be less than $5.
This way, you can save food and money.
After a month, $2,500 is barely enough.
This university student said,
I think it would be great if I didn't go to university.
After going back to the countryside,
if I didn't go to university, I could do a normal job.
No one would judge me.
Just like my elementary and high school classmates,
if they didn't go to university,
they could be a barber, a cashier, or a waitress.
But if you go to university after graduation,
people would say that going to university is useless.
I can't find a good job now,
and I don't want to do a low-income job.
In fact, I feel very painful.
Why am I so down tonight?
Because I have been away from home for almost three months.
I feel like I have no energy to do media.
I can't see the future.
I don't know what I can do.
He said, I really want to find a job.
But in the countryside,
if there are no people and no connections,
even if you graduate from university,
you have no way out.
I feel like I'm going to collapse every day.
Because there is no way to find a job that is similar to the position,
many graduates can only engage in low-tech jobs,
such as delivery.
Last year, a airport in Wenzhou was shut down.
The airport has hired architects and engineers
Under the difficult circumstances of the enterprise,
even if some graduates find a job,
they will soon lose their jobs.
A Weibo user said,
I am 29 years old.
Since I graduated, I have been fired three times.
Now, even if I write in my resume,
I have not married, I have no children,
no one will reply to me.
A blogger said he was fired by the company.
The reason why the HR director gave him
was that the project he was responsible for
had to be handed over to a foreign company.
So for the time being, he doesn't need to come to the company to work.
He said he had just arrived at the new company for three months.
When he was about to transfer,
he received a notice,
as if it were heaven's will.
There was no compensation.
He never thought he would be fired.
He has made enough effort
but he was still fired by the company.
It can only be said that he is not good enough.
Being fired has a great impact on him.
When he was young,
he thought that crying was the best way to solve problems.
When he grew up,
he realized that a smile is a weapon to face reality.
CNN said
the increase in young people's unemployment rate
was largely the result of China's economic downturn.
During the three years of the epidemic,
the economy was down,
and private enterprises experienced a downturn.
Private enterprises are the largest source of employment
and have contributed more than 80% of the employment opportunities to China.
In 2022,
460,000 companies in China will be out of business.
3.1 million companies will be out of business
In the first quarter of this year,
the number of Chinese companies out of business
has reached 460,000.
At the same time,
the CCP has launched a series of activities
to suppress private enterprises.
From technology, finance to games,
entertainment and private education,
companies like Alibaba, Tencent and DiDi
have been reviewed and fined
which has led to a big drop in the company's stock price.
Companies under the CCP's control
have implemented large-scale financial resources,
which has not only reduced the number of employees,
but also made it more difficult for college graduates
to find a job.
In addition,
in the CCP's system,
there has always been an employment ecology
that refers to the rich and the poor.
Employment funds,
such as three-generation banks and three-generation taxes,
rely on government powers and the state-owned system
to make the local authorities of the CCP
more powerful and wealthier.
Recently, a 10-year-old boy in Guangde City,
who claims to have inherited the business after growing up
and is the president of a hair salon,
is a typical example.
