We are back snowboarding in Mt. Hood, Oregon. One of the meccas for snowboarding for June and July.
So thankful to be back up here and there's a ton of snow up here still. Should be a great
day. Going to check out the park and do a hike up into the mountain as well.
Oh wow there's a line. Oh yeah literally. Yo! What's up man? How's it going dude?
I was hoping to run into you. Yeah dude. Look at that board too. Yeah this thing is ridiculous.
That's a beast. Goofing around today. Guys we got Jonathan. What up dude? What's up bro? It's
been a minute. Look at this guy's got a mustache. He's looking uh... Growing up guys. Dude you got
some you got some serious style going on. I was like uh springtime you gotta bust out the mustache.
Yeah I think Europe has changed you dude. Right? I'm fancy now. Awesome man. Good to see you man.
Jonathan man how was your first euro trip? It was wild. So it was the first time I left
the country guys and everything's just so different. Especially at the ski resort because
you know it's like you can go up a lift and then just drop a spine or just anything you want. It's
all off off piece. There's no rules. I literally hopped on one of the avalanche things and jumped
off like no one's gonna pull your pass or anything. It's just a good time and then just like...
Anything like stand out to you that you didn't expect about Europe? The people are like the
friendliest, gnarliest, humblest people you'll ever meet. Like specifically one dude named
I met out there like sender. Most energy ever. Super humble. Just like follow me come on let's
go. And you're like okay man. And they're like it's so big and scary to them. They're like it's
nothing. They're like come on we're doing this fine. We're jumping this rock. You're like oh okay
okay here we go. We'll do a collab trip to Europe. That'd be sick. That would be insane. Come on
y'all make it happen. Let us know in the comments if Jonathan and I should do a 2025 euro trip.
Yeah that would be wild. Sick man. I get it.
Halfway is getting a little fun too. Getting fun in there ain't it? Yeah. I see you Kevin.
We made it. It's actually not bad coming through there. That was fun. I like it. I think we got it.
I think we could like... We could carve ---- out like if we ride it. I saw you like... Yeah yeah.
Oh you're walking. Got my water. I was like damn Kevin's taking a minute. Perfect. Yeah yeah.
I appreciate you filming. No worries man. Just trying to get down there so we can maybe catch
one. Get it tight tight. And the sun. Sun elevation. Be safe. Good day. See you guys tomorrow.
It's firm. The view up here is insane. Looking out to the west you can see the Columbia River.
So I'm hiking from the top of the palmer chair to a spot up here on Mount Hood. High enough to
where I can ride to Illumination Rock. I think one of the most like scenic and iconic spots
anywhere. It's incredible. So I can't wait to get up there. I brought a few things up with me to
make this hike a bit easier. So I've got the snowshoes. And these are making the hike much
easier because the snow is kind of like mushy. And so the snowshoes like help me to stay on top
that much more. And the poles just help so much with taking some of the hiking energy out of your
legs and putting it into your arms. These poles make the hike so much easier. And they collapse
down too. So when I go into snowboard mode they're gonna fit into my backpack. I'm also strapping
my snowboard to my backpack. Which means I don't have to carry it. Straps nice and tight. I'm also
gonna strap my helmet to my backpack too. So I've got about a 30 minute hike. Then I'm gonna snowboard
over to Illumination Rock. And hopefully the snow is like soft enough too to have a nice smooth ride
down. An incredible day up here. Just feeling so lucky to still be snowboarding in June. And
we can still ride to the parking lot. Oh there's a poochie.
It's like caw caw caw caw. Not a bad day. No the sun came out. It came out. Snow got soft.
That was fun. Hopefully I'll see some of you guys up here this summer at Mount Hood.
Thank you for coming along for the ride today and I'll catch you in the next video.
