I am now traveling SOLO across Canada. This is the life of a nomad we always missing someone.
So we arrived at Walmart where I'm probably going to sleep tonight.
So we are in a town called, I think it's Swiss Current?
I think that's the name.
In Saskatchewan.
We are in Saskatchewan right now.
We crossed one province.
I think I drove a good five plus hours.
So yeah, it's been, I've been quite tired to be honest with you, been emotionally drained
I think too as well.
This morning was my little goodbye for a little while to come to my boyfriend.
So it was a little bit of a challenge on both of the sides.
And as I was driving, I was just thinking, you know, always been my adult life.
You know, I always miss some people.
When I moved from Quebec to British Columbia, every time I'm in British Columbia, I miss
some of my friends in Quebec and my family.
And when I'm in Quebec to go see them, I miss some of my friends in B.C.
And now I miss my boyfriend already.
So I'm not quite sure when me and Chrome is going to meet again at the end of the summer,
summer somewhere.
I'm not quite sure.
But yeah, a little bit of challenge, challenge emotionally today.
And I just put the music on, try to change my mind, sing every like rock music song that
I could find on the radio and just drove and drove and drove and drove and drove.
It's pretty great.
We don't have any snow here at least.
I think the next province don't have a lot of snow.
But here, it's been great.
We're sunny, beautiful.
So it was like, let's just drive, drive.
So I'm hungry though.
So I'm going to have a little something to eat, going to do a big grocery because I didn't
really do any prep so much.
I kind of just left and didn't stop at any grocery.
So I'm going to make a big grocery so I don't have to stop and have plenty of food inside
my van to snack on, to have lunch and things like this.
So I don't have to look for grocery and all this, but yeah, let's see what I'm going to
eat tonight.
So what we have in the fridge.
So I think we're going to have a pad thai.
So I'm going to use this which takes two minutes to cook in the water.
And I have bell pepper, I have some mushroom that is starting to be bad though.
Some bok choy and just some pad thai sauce that I'm going to put on top.
Super simple, but it's going to be yummy.
While this is cooking, I'm going to make a list for my grocery.
And even if it's quite hard right now to, you know, say goodbye for a little bit to
Like every time that I go back in Quebec, it's always with my friends, always like almost
like I never left.
You know, it's always a big celebration and a lot of fun and a lot of good time.
And I know even if it's hard right now and today and the next couple of days it's going
to be hard.
I just know that, you know, when I'm going to see Chrome again and all my friends in
BC, I know it's going to be the same feeling, you know, just good time.
Those noodles are so nice to eat, they cook so quick.
My God, every time I just grab the bag, it's just like noodles everywhere.
So I just boil the water, put that aside, cover it and that's going to cook while the
mushrooms and the rest of the vegetables are going to cook.
All right, let's try to clean.
And I'm not sure why, if you ask me, like why I keep moving, like I moved so many places
before van life.
Why this urge of exploring and adventure, I guess, is just bigger than so much stuff,
you know, like don't get me wrong, I would love to have my boyfriend with me on this
travel trip.
In the same time, I know it's going to be great that he's got his adventure this summer
and I have my own and like we already talked to on the phone today and, you know, like
he just share his day, all the stuff they've done and I share what I've done and it's great
in the same time, you know, even if it's sad.
And we should, like I said, be back together somewhere this summer.
Not to worry, I know it's going to be great.
All right, put the rest of the vegetables and this should be almost cut and yeah, dinner
will be served.
All right, a little pad thai express with what I have left in my fridge.
That looks good.
And if I have some leftover, I'm going to eat that tomorrow.
So let's try this.
There you go.
Pretty good.
That's going to work.
Oh yeah.
All right, guys, as you can tell, I am pretty much close to go to bed.
It's been a long day.
Grocery is done.
We are good to go for tomorrow.
So yeah, I'm going to try to do those kind of like four or five hour stretch.
We'll go day by day.
I don't want to burn myself too much, but I kind of want to go, you know, I want to
go a little as fast as I can too as well.
So and what I'm going to do, I think my plan for this road trip until I go to my parents
house in Quebec City is going to be to wake up quite early, edit some video and go on
the road in the morning.
And I'm going to try to break it down today.
I did pretty much a five hour stretch quite without any major stop.
I don't want to do that too much.
I want to break it down a little bit.
Stretch walk.
I did a little one stop, but I want to do more so I don't get too tired.
So I'm going to see you in the next video and I'm going to let you look pretty obviously.
So kitty, you had a good day?
A lot of driving?
Yeah.
You're going to go to bed too?
Pretty already?
You sound good.
Give me a kiss.
Where are you going?
Going to bed with me?
That's so nice of you.
