Thank you very much.
So, this morning we checked out our accommodation and we went to Ueno station to catch the Nan
bullet train to our next destination
and that is Atami city. If we catch a Nan bullet train, it will take us roughly up to three hour
train ride because they do a lot of stops and they don't travel as fast as a bullet train. Anyway,
we got on the train and because there is a delay, the train that supposed to be the right train
turned out to be the wrong one. So, we got off at the next station and then we waited half an hour
for the right train and we thought that is the right train will take us to our next destination
and it turned out that train only take us back to Ueno station which is where we first started with
and now we have to wait for another an hour and a half or another hour or more
to catch the right train. So, we're just in the waiting room somewhere away from our platform
waiting for the time. We have so much luggage, we can't really go around or be in any restaurant
even though I want to eat. I haven't eaten breakfast yet and this is like 12 30 already.
Yeah, we have too much luggage to be in any cafe or any restaurant because their restaurant is
tiny. There's literally no space. What a day! What a morning! I mean, this is actually the first time
it's happening to us. We have traveled in Japan three times already. This is our fourth time
and none of it cost something like this. This is the first time and it's not good because we've
young kids and dragging them around with a lot of luggage is not really good.
Ticket man!
Can the taxi even drive up there? Yeah, it can.
I have my favorite shrimp or porn cracker.
Yeah.
It's like we're the only guests here.
Up here.
That's Aiden's boyfriend.
Not a good feeling to have.
Could be potato mash.
Okay, then go and live a bachelor life as long as you're sending home money.
Oh. Yeah.
Aiden's eating kid meal.
I have been sick for the past two days.
And we arrived at Atami.
The town called Atami in Japan.
I'm staying at Sunden Resort.
I have been very, very sick.
I don't know why.
Anyway, I lost my voice.
I have been staying in bed for two days.
Unfortunately, we cannot stay in bed.
We have to check out.
We have to go to the next town.
Which is Iwakura.
Aiden, get in the clinic.
Well, we're going to go walking tomorrow.
How dare you!
We're making even more room.
We need one more.
No, two more.
How did we have five last time?
We had four.
There's one more here.
And then we put another one on top.
We did?
We didn't use the last one.
But I think I need the last one.
Here, bring your medicine.
It's fine. Just leave it like this.
It's fine. Make them lie like that.
Eva, Evie, just leave it, I said.
No, just leave it like that.
What's wrong with it?
Make it all big.
Looks like it's a tooth.
Don't worry, there's a second tooth coming.
Hey, mate.
Can you put this down the chair?
Good.
What's the other one?
So big?
Eden, I'm sorry, daddy.
I don't really like this.
I think I need two layers.
Because I'm fat.
So I need more.
More layers to support me, okay?
That's why.
I don't even know
I can put all my toys here.
This is me and Evie's place.
Yeah.
If they were booked out,
well, they're not for window owners.
Eden died.
My sister died.
Time to make croissant.
Croissant.
And then I went home
with the croissant.
Croissant.
And then I returned home
with the croissant.
Croissant.
And then I ate the croissant.
Croissant.
And then I grabbed
some more croissant.
Croissant.
And then I looked in the store
and found a birthday party croissant.
Croissant.
I think today
is the fifth day
I have been sick in bed.
We pretty much
five days of doing nothing.
Well, today,
Justin took our girls
to the open-air
museum in Hakone.
I asked him
to do some video
for me.
And he did.
But then he didn't do
the landscape way
of video.
He did the portrait way
which I can't
use it to put
on YouTube.
Ah, silly.
Justin, he deserves to be smacked
in the butt.
So I just stay
at home in bed and resting.
I am
feeling better
now.
At least I got my voice
back.
But the block note is killing me.
Still.
Oh my god.
Why the road to our
dinner
is all stairs
and stairs
and stairs.
Hi, that come from that.
Okay, let's go.
This barbecue place
located sort of
on the curved way
of main road.
Huh.
What a weird location.
Are we the...
Like is this all you can eat?
No, I think just the salad.
The topping.
Did they just tell us
to sit down?
This table is too
far away
from me.
I like it.
Look at my bowl.
Why are you taking a picture?
We're gonna be going backwards, eh?
Continue it.
Hello, it's me.
It's me.
It's okay.
We're getting up
and then I'm getting down.
Now it's ready.
Look at all the smoke.
Is that a volcano?
I thought this was some sort of ruins
of a city because it's really white.
This looks so...
It used to be a volcano.
Because it's too far.
I should definitely put some
wind farms up here.
Yes!
It's just syrup.
Maple syrup.
The holes on that beach.
How very disappointing.
We came all the way here to see
the red gate and then
it was closed.
Not sure what's happening.
Maybe some construction or something.
Pretty much we can't go
near the red gate anymore.
That's very unfortunate.
Let me go and
see what's happening.
Today is our last day in Hakone
and the day that I
actually feeling
a lot better
as well.
I can't see Evie.
Evie, block her.
Can we let the man tell us where it is?
Don't say mine's better
or yours better.
Mine's better.
Excuse me, you party pooper.
You photo bummer.
Have I eaten that meat?
No, you haven't.
It's called vegetable meat.
This is plant-based meat.
Yeah, it's meat that's made out of plants.
That is a rib eye.
Hey, don't touch it.
It's expensive.
So our dinner tonight is
at this barbecue restaurant.
We assume it's
Korean
because
Justin,
we were all
not satisfied with the barbecue
we had last night.
The barbecue wasn't
that good.
They have a lot of
side dishes and
dessert for free
and the drink was
all-you-can-drink for $4 per person
which is really good.
But yeah,
they had all-you-can-eat side
that's like complimentary.
Oh yeah, it's part of the meal.
But yeah,
it wasn't that good.
So we went
and had barbecue at this place.
It's better.
It's
flame grilled but
still not as good compared
to the
normal
yakiniku.
Is it yakiniku?
Yakiniku.
Like all the Japanese
barbecue that we went to
in Bigger City.
In Bigger City, the Japanese
barbecue will be definitely better.
Here, this place,
they don't give you any size.
You have to order.
And the soup that
I was wanting
to eat the soup
and the one that they served us,
it tastes
80% tastes like
instant noodle soup.
