穿青人 - Chuanqing Han People (Suav Tshom Tshij)

The Chuanqing people were descendants of Han soldiers that were sent to Guizhou to suppress the Miao uprising. In the oral story of the Xiong Clan of the West Hmong, the Xyooj Cuab (Xiong family) buried their deads in rock mounds because the Suav Tshom Tshij would destroy Hmong graves, raid and attack the Xiong village. Rock mounds were to imitate Han graves. The elders spoke of the Tshom Tshij people, whom are today Chuanqing people of Guizhou.
