This healthy pineapple orange smoothie with coconut milk will transport you to a tropical island.
Hi everybody! Welcome back to Clean Eating Kitchen. I'm Keri and this is where I share easy
gluten-free and dairy-free recipes that help you feel great. And during warm weather,
it's always refreshing to have a cool drink. This three ingredient healthy smoothie recipe is
full of vitamin C and antioxidants and fiber. It's so easy to make and I think you're really
going to love it. And I've had a lot of requests for more smoothie recipes and especially some
smoothie recipes that don't use banana because a lot of people can't eat banana or don't like
banana. So today's recipe has only three ingredients. I think you're really going to
love it. It's very similar to my immune-boosting orange smoothie recipe. That one had banana
though and this one does not. So as written, this recipe is dairy-free, gluten-free, vegan,
paleo, whole 30, and it is so delicious. So let's get our ingredients ready. First of all, we have
three-fourths of a cup of light coconut milk. And you can use light coconut milk that comes in a can
or you can use coconut beverage that comes in a box. The coconut beverage will be even
lighter than the light coconut milk. It doesn't have nearly as much fat or you can make homemade
coconut milk, which is very, very similar to the light coconut milk found in a can. And I have a
video for how to make homemade coconut beverage. I will link that right up here so you can check
that out. The second ingredient is about three-fourths of a cup of frozen pineapple chunks.
And you can find these in the frozen section of your grocery store and just measure out about a
half a cup to three-fourths of a cup. And next, you need two whole oranges. And as I mentioned,
oranges, when you use the whole orange, they're full of fiber and vitamin C and antioxidants and
they're so healthy. And so you just need to cut the peel off of the fruit and then cut the fruit
into chunks. And you will have a little bowl of two whole oranges. So to make the smoothie,
we're going to add our ingredients to our high-speed blender. So I'm using my three-fourths
of a cup of light coconut milk. I'm just going to add that in. And whenever you're making a
smoothie, it's always a good idea to add the liquid first. That helps the smoothie get started
blending. So next, we will add our two oranges that I have peeled and chopped. And then the
last ingredient is about just a little bit more than a half a cup of frozen pineapple. And that
is it. Those are the only three ingredients we need. And this smoothie reminds me of the vacations
that I take to Hawaii. I wish I were in Hawaii right now, but since I can't be there, I think
this drink will help. Pretend. So it only took 15 seconds. It is all blended. Oh my gosh, it smells
so good. It is very tropical in flavor. So I have a glass here. This makes two servings. And so I'm
just going to pour it in here. Oh, the color is so pretty. It looks and smells like a pina colada.
And cheers. And I hope wherever you are, you are having a great summer and that you love this
recipe. I will share my playlist of my other dairy-free smoothie recipes. You can check that
out. And I'll see you in the next video. Bye, everybody. I don't know why this never goes on.
Be careful. You're standing right in front of the camera.
Yum-a-licious.
