Thanks for watching the video 🆕Lakers Fan Ethers Lebron Haters ▶ Straitway Georgia Elder Rufus Drops The Mic On TicketTV Panel
FYF Sports, man, this is Lamont.
And we back, back with another,
man, we got another podcast video, man.
Today is actually a special video, man.
We haven't, we haven't actually reacted to one of,
you know, you know, you know I,
you know I always go to this panel
just to kind of talk sports with these guys.
We know that these guys on a common basis
say some outlandish things.
So that's what we back here doing today, man.
We got to react to just the crazy ether that I heard.
I almost forgot about it, then it came to my mind.
I said, I got to put this out there.
I got to let the world hear the truth.
So that's why I'm back.
I'm going to be breaking this down, man.
And again, if you want the formula
for how to absolutely ether somebody,
this is how you do it right here.
Again, aside from taking my notes
and following my steps with regards to how to ether people
on the basketball stage,
this is a prime example of how to ether somebody.
But before we get into that,
make sure you guys like, comment, subscribe,
hit the notification bell, man.
We grinding to 10K, that's the next goal.
Again, when we get to 10K,
big things are going to be happening.
We may be starting our live debates.
We also are going to drop our merch line
and a whole host of things are just going to happen
once we get to 10K.
So again, if you're not a subscriber,
hit that, hit that red, hit that little red box,
hit the subscribe button,
hit the notification bell next to it.
So you know when our videos drop.
So again, we drop all types of content.
If you are not aware of all the content we have,
look at some of our playlists,
find something that you like and then just hit play,
sit back and enjoy.
So that's all you got to do when you come to FYF Sports,
because again, we got a playlist for everybody.
All you have to do is go find what you need
and just hit play.
So today I'm going to, again,
this is a long video right here.
I don't have time to really play it all.
I'm just going to play some of the most important parts
to just give this guy credit for coming to the panel
and absolutely putting the ether on.
And once again, we got James Hayes here.
Again, this is the after picture.
That right down below me,
someone was able to send me a picture of James Hayes
after this ether.
And once again, he got lumped up again.
So in the past, we know that he's got lumped up
by CJ on the debate stage.
Now we back again.
So, you know, before I introduce some of the characters,
I'm going to set the stage.
Again, we're on the panel.
We're talking about the Lakers.
I don't even know how we got on LeBron James,
but James Hayes, he's right down here below me.
James Hayes absolutely dislikes LeBron James,
even to the point where he calls LeBron James a role player.
He says, LeBron James is a role player.
And again, you know, on this panel right here,
you know, these guys can get away
with saying some crazy things.
You know, Ticket TV will allow guys to come on here
and say the most outlandish things.
And he doesn't step in to set the record straight.
So that's why guys like me, CJ Spiffy, Super Mac Defunk,
that's why we have to come in on a nightly basis
to again, try to dispel and debunk a lot of this stuff again.
So I've absolutely come on this panel
and I've debunked this, bunked these guys.
You know, I would say probably at least 1,500 times already.
That's on the low end.
It may be more than that, but 1,500 times probably.
But today, today it was time for me to sit back
and allow somebody else to do the ethering.
And so I'm gonna set the stage.
So this started when I asked James Hayes,
the LeBron James hater, I asked him one single question.
I said, if you had to start a team
with Chris Webber or LeBron James.
Now, when I say Chris Webber or LeBron James,
I'm talking about what we, after knowing,
after seeing Chris Webber's career,
after watching LeBron James for most of his career,
knowing what we know now,
if you had to start a team with either in their prime,
who are you taking?
Are you taking LeBron James or Chris Webber?
Obviously we know what his answer is gonna be,
but then he's gonna go into explaining his answer.
And after he explains his answer,
one of the people in the chat,
one of the people in the chat
just absolutely has enough of it.
And he has to step into the panel
to come through with the absolute ultimate ether of the day.
So again, I gotta give him credit.
He put on an ether like no other.
He put on an ether that's probably comparable
to one of my ethers.
You know what I'm saying?
He probably ethered James to the ninth degree.
I'm usually ethering these guys
to like the 10th or 11th degree.
So he was right there with a high level of efficiency
with his ethering.
And he came through and did a great job.
Let me look at James.
So you see, you see the results.
He lumped James up.
There was really no coming back from it.
So I'm gonna play what led up to it.
And then I'm going to play
when the guy who did the ethering steps in.
And when he steps in,
and we're gonna introduce him at that point in time,
he's gonna step in and give James Hayes the ultimate ether.
So we're gonna go ahead and play this clip right here
just so you can see how the stage was set.
We're back on the air.
Hey, you know what, James,
if you had to start a team,
who are you taking, LeBron James or Chris Webber?
What you mean?
You have to start a team.
You got a choice.
No, no, I'm asking James, who you got?
No, listen, listen.
I don't want no player like LeBron on my team, dog.
I already told you that.
He'll take me over LeBron.
No, don't put Chris Webber right there.
Put somebody else right there.
Cause you know why I take Chris Webber?
Cause he like to shed a ball.
He could bring it up just like him.
He was doing it before he got his ass in the league.
Chris Webber was already a 6'9",
******* power forward center running part in high school.
Three championships.
And man, come on, man.
The dude was doing the same thing LeBron was doing,
but the only thing he did
was he elevated his game from the mid-range
and he already had a bro's game, you know, nigga.
So what the **** he couldn't do that LeBron was doing?
You would take Chris Webber over LeBron, James?
That's not what I'm saying.
I'm going for the all-around player.
So this is what I like to do, you guys.
This is what I like to do.
When I ask somebody a question,
what I do is I like to qualify it.
I want to make it so that your statement
and your answer to this question is locked in,
set in stone.
So when I come back through and I have to do the ethering,
then I have your statement cut and dry.
You can't go back on it.
That's just why I asked them again.
So again, that's just setting them up.
So again, if you're like CJ,
guys who are new to the game
that you don't really fully understand
how to put on the absolute ether,
especially when you have a panel of guys on Ticket TV,
who will kind of mob you with that mob mentality
and then make you back down off your stance.
And again, make sure you guys,
again, you see it on the screen right here,
Ticket TV Media.
Ticket TV Media, make sure you go to his channel.
Make sure you subscribe to this man,
because again, even though I have to come through
and ether these guys on a nightly basis
to be able to do what he does,
I'm talking seven days a week for at least three,
two, three, sometimes even four hours,
this man is going live,
allowing us to come onto his platform and debate.
So again, I give him that much respect,
but he does allow guys like James Hayes
to just go a little bit too wild in some of these things.
And the crazy thing is Ticket TV
actually agrees with some of these things.
He believes that LeBron James is a role player.
So he doesn't get to pass for this ether as well,
because this was an ether, not just for James,
this was an ether for Ticket TV as well.
But I'm gonna play it a little bit more,
just again to set the stage for the absolute ether.
Then I'm gonna introduce the panelists in
who had to come through and set the record straight.
I don't want no one dimensional ass nigga on my team.
Period.
Listen, listen, listen to this, listen to this.
Listen, I'm serious, it's a ******* heart attack.
I'm about to name 10 niggas right now
that play small forward that I take over LeBron James.
In my era, in y'all era, and in our era, nigga.
You want me to go back to the ******* 80s, nigga?
I could.
Don't backstab me, y'all niggas.
I got decades worth of basketball in my knowledge.
I ain't got no one like y'all LeBron's got.
LeBron got y'all blind up,
this little bullshit he's doing out here.
Y'all remember back that King ----?
That ain't no ******* King ----.
You got Scooby-Doo, and then you got a pup called Scooby-Doo.
You ain't got Captain Caveman, and then you got A.M. Son.
That's what that nigga here.
He can't say it.
I'm not taking quiet.
Hey James.
Okay, so now the record, you know, again,
now we have, you know, now we know what's going on here.
I asked, you know, James,
they had been talking crazy about LeBron.
He'd been calling him a role player.
So that's why I asked him.
Again, this is me setting up the question.
Again, this is how far, you know,
James is a big 90s fan.
This is how far 90s fans, you know, will go.
They'll say anything to prop up somebody
from the 90s like Chris Webber.
Again, this is why I'm doing my series.
Our 90s players are overrated,
because primarily because 90s fans will go out of their way
to prop up somebody from the 90s like Chris Webber
and have the audacity to say that this man
is not only better than LeBron James,
but they would select him.
If you had to start a team,
they would select him over LeBron James.
Again, that's straight blasphemous.
Whether you like the man or not,
that's just not happening.
Nobody in their right mind who's a basketball fan
or even a basketball savant
will make that particular decision.
But again, these are the things
that they will go to the extreme and say.
So I didn't even get the chance.
I didn't even get the opportunity to go into my ether.
So the brother that I'm about to introduce in is,
you know, this brother actually was already on my show.
He was already on my show.
I did an interview with him
and I knew I brought him on my show for a reason,
because I heard him talk for the first time
and I said, there's something special about this dude.
Not, you know, not just with the basketball side
of things, but this guy is extremely intelligent,
has a lot going on for himself.
But today, when it comes to basketball,
I did not know this man's basketball IQ was this high.
You know, that's almost up there with mine.
Again, there's not too many people that I will admit
that their basketball IQ is up there with mine,
but this guy is up there with mine.
So I'm gonna introduce the man.
His name is Straightway Georgia Elder Rufus.
Straightway Georgia Elder Rufus.
Make sure you guys subscribe to his channel.
Go check out some of his videos,
because again, he definitely deserves it,
especially for the show that he put on today.
And the way he brought, the way he, you know,
he had had so much of hearing all of the blasphemy
against LeBron James.
He basically asked the show host, Ticket TV,
he said, what is it gonna take?
He said, what amount of money will it take
for you to put this dude on mute, man?
Because he was just, his eardrums were hurting.
He was getting tired of hearing the blasphemy.
And Ticket TV, you know, didn't believe him.
You know, a lot of people say crazy things to Ticket TV.
Ticket said $100.
He said, you drop $100, I'm gonna put it on mute.
And watch what happens.
Watch what happens now.
Not only does he come through big in the cash shop,
not only does he do that,
but he comes through and sets the record straight.
He sets the record straight, you know, again.
He has to, the LeBron James haters,
he had to set the record straight.
Because again, a lot of people will go to extended lengths
to trash on LeBron James when the man is great
and you just don't wanna admit it.
And people don't like admitting it
because he's on the heels of Michael Jordan.
He's chasing Michael Jordan down in that GOAT conversation.
So they have to do everything they can to diminish him
so that he does not catch Jordan in everybody,
especially in this heiress, in their eyes.
So we're gonna go ahead and we're gonna play this clip
and I'm just gonna let it roll, y'all.
I just want you to hear the absolute ether.
I can't play the whole thing, but the link to this video,
I'm gonna put the link to this video in the description.
So if you wanna hear the full video,
if you wanna hear the full video,
go to the description of this video,
click on that link and you will see the full video.
But for now, we're gonna go straight to the part
where the absolute ether starts by straight way.
Georgia Elder Rufus.
You couldn't do nothing about it.
You can't do nothing about it.
Listen, I guarantee you,
before a nigga could get a chance to get up on me like that,
I'm a been a did himself.
You can talk to me from three feet away.
I'm not a nigga, I'm a nigga, I'm five feet up.
Listen, I'm five feet up.
Hold on, Jay, hold on, Jay.
I had to put you on mute, James.
Hold on, I gotta tell you what happened, James.
I would never do this to you, James.
This ************ Elder, I dare this nigga.
This nigga Elder was talking ----, right, James?
This nigga Elder.
This ************ talking about some luck.
Check this out, Jay.
This ************ tell me,
man, how much you would take to mute this nigga?
I thought he was bullshitting, LJ.
I said, nigga, you put a hundred on that ************.
I'll put a nigga on mute right now.
I thought he was bullshitting.
That nigga, that nigga, that nigga said a hundred, dog.
That nigga said a hundred.
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
Check this out, Elder.
This is the problem.
He said, mute that sucker.
This is the problem, right?
Check it out.
Y'all get mad at James, right?
But James telling, James, James,
James be telling the truth about a lot of this ----, bro.
Bro, this nigga, hold on, hold on, hold on.
Let me stop the video again,
but this is what I mean why this ether that's about to come,
this is why it's also for Ticket TV
because you see how he just, he, on the slide,
he basically is agreeing with James.
So again, the ether that's coming
is also for Ticket TV as well.
But James Hayes, right down here below,
he took the brunt of the ether.
And again, this is the ether to the highest,
one of the highest degrees.
Yeah, again, I ether people on the 10th degree.
Straightway, Georgia Elder Rufus,
the brother came through ethered on about the ninth degree.
And you see, I mean, you see the damage
that it did to James Hayes,
but we going to keep it rolling, y'all.
It's all love.
I got it.
I don't hate, I don't hate LeBron James.
I hate these niggas that surround him, bro.
Whatever.
I know, Elder, I'm going to tell you the truth, Elder.
I'm going to tell you the truth, Elder.
Let me ask you a question, Elder.
This is why I don't hate him.
Let me ask you, Elder.
I want to ask you, Elder.
I want to ask you one question.
No, no, no.
I want to ask you one question, Elder.
Elder, you don't find it.
No, I'm going to ask you a question
and ain't nobody going to cut you off.
Elder, you don't find it bothersome,
all the stuff that these people that's,
I'm talking about that surround LeBron James,
do to tear down everybody else just to big him up, bro?
Yes.
Yes, I do.
And you know, I don't care for LeBron as a player.
I like what he do off the court.
I've never cared for LeBron as a player,
but because I'm a Laker fan,
I don't have any choice but to cheer for LeBron right now.
But I still respect and honor greatness.
And I'm not going to say dumb, stupid stuff.
See, James, you're talking about it.
I'm betting with my heart.
James was the one talking with his heart
because he hated LeBron so much.
To say something that's ignorant and ridiculous
as Chris Webber's better than Dan Moore.
I'd start my team with Chris Webber.
That's why that nigga in New Orleans with no ----.
They would lose every single time.
Elder, let me say something to you.
No, no, no, no, don't cut me off.
Don't cut me off.
You asked me to come in, I'm up, nigga.
Go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, cook, nigga, cook.
Let me talk.
Cook, nigga!
I made one request.
I made one request in the beginning,
and you're going to honor that request to me.
You're going to honor it.
I asked you how much it's going to cost
to shut that nigga up for the night, to mute his ass.
Oh, come on, Elder.
Elder, Elder, I give you that ---- back.
I give you that ---- back.
Cook, cook, cook, because I'm going to let him cook.
I'm going to let him cook.
I'm going to let him cook on you.
How you going to come in here and talk ---- to him
and say he ain't going to say nothing back, nigga?
How you going to say that?
That nigga is fighting for me.
OK, well say it to his face then, nigga.
Say it to his face.
And let that nigga talk back to you, nigga.
I done said it to his face, but I'm
going to go talk to his little high school boys here.
No, nigga, no.
You got the flow, and then he going to let him respond.
Don't talk, I don't have any more ---- on him,
and then he can't talk back to you, nigga.
Bring it on.
Go ahead.
You got the flow.
Go ahead.
At the end of the day, I got involved
because he was talking crazy.
And here's the thing.
You talking crazy, Ticket.
There is no way in hell you're going
to tell me out of all the immaculate and great players
that ever played in this NBA, in 100 years,
you got a role player in your top five.
I'm not trying to hear that ----.
Now, I understand you dislike all of these talking heads
that support LeBron and put everybody else down.
I hate all those people, too.
But at the end of the day, I'm not
going to disrespect this man's greatness.
This man is one of the greatest players to play all the time.
I don't even have LeBron in my top five.
I got him in the top six.
And you got him in the top five, and I
thought that's a good thing to say.
This nigga's a role player, but you're
saying you don't hate him.
You don't hate, well, let's put it this way.
You don't hate him for everybody else that love him?
That skews your opinion about him.
And LeBron has not been a role player in none of these years.
I'm going to tell you exactly what happened
since I'm cooking right now.
What happened when he went to Miami
was you had pride and selfishness go forth.
If Shaq ass would have humbled himself in LA,
he'd have been able to stay and play with Kobe.
But because that nigga was on his crap
and didn't realize it was Kobe's time,
he didn't want to give it over to Kobe
because Kobe was, in his case, arrogant.
He made the Lakers trade him.
And then the first thing he'd do when he'd get off that plane
is say, this is Dwayne Wade's team.
Now, why couldn't that fool say that in LA and give it to Kobe?
That's what he should have done.
And the Lakers would have had a lot more championships.
And Shaq was washed up at that time.
But he could have jumped on Kobe back,
and they could have won three, four more championships
together.
That's what has happened.
But LeBron James, he went down there talking all that crap.
He did.
He didn't back it up in that first year.
And part of the reason he didn't back it up, in my opinion,
is because D-Wade didn't humble himself.
D-Wade was still trying to prove he was the best, too.
Hold on, let me finish.
Let me finish.
I'm asking a question.
I don't want to ask you a question.
I want to finish.
That's what I want to do.
Well, you don't answer my goddamn question
after you finish.
This is why I don't come on.
Go ahead.
Go ahead, nigga.
You just let that fool down there in New Orleans.
You just let that fool talk for 30 minutes.
And we had to listen to that fool.
Bro, everybody was talking with him.
He wasn't just talking along.
Man, we didn't want to hear that crap.
He was talking junk.
Nigga, I agree with him.
At the end, that's fine.
That's why you let him roll like that.
But most of the people in the chat room was laughing
and said, this is retarded.
Chris Webber over LeBron?
Nobody in the world would do that.
Nobody knows basketball.
Even he admitted the other day, he a football player.
Two or five, eight, 250 or something.
He said, this crazy stuff.
I don't want to hear what that fool got to say about basketball.
He don't know no basketball.
He don't know.
You don't know no basketball.
You don't know basketball.
You was a loser.
I guarantee that.
And you lost.
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
Hey, let him go, James.
And I'm going to let you go.
I'm going to let him go again.
Nobody going to cut y'all off.
I don't want to hear nothing.
Go ahead, Elder.
Go ahead.
Go ahead, now.
Hold on, hold on, hold on.
Finish your statement, Elder.
And then I'm going to let him finish the whole statement.
At the end of the day, when D-Wade humbled himself,
that's when they won the next championship.
Let me finish.
LeBron was the man.
And he should have been the man coming in from day one.
He was a better player than Dwayne Wade.
Period.
I got one question for you.
This is my question about what you just said, right?
Now, you said D-Wade, hold on.
You said D-Wade should have humbled himself, right?
He should have.
Why should D-Wade have humbled himself
if he won a chip and was the finals MVP before LeBron came?
I'll tell you what.
No, I'm only cutting it off because this question right
here, this question, if you're not
a master at the ether, if you're not
a master at debunking people, this question right here
would have stumped a lot of people.
And this is when I was just sitting back.
I was like, I got to see where his basketball IQ is
going to take him with this.
And man, I'm telling you, his answer,
his rebuttal to this question was, man,
I was looking like, man, that's exactly how I would have
broke it down, man.
This is when I was getting close to pushing his ether up
to the 10th degree instead of the 9th degree.
But at the end of the day, the 9th degree is up there.
But man, the way he answered this question, man,
was the absolute ether to all these arguments, man.
And again, it leaves people speechless
because it ends the conversation.
So I just want you guys to pay close attention
to how you ether LeBron James haters.
Tell you what, are you listening?
Go ahead.
Are you listening?
Go ahead, go ahead, though.
How many MVPs and championships had Steph Curry won
before KD got there?
And look what happened.
He humbled himself.
He got two more.
No, no, he lost the championship.
Hold on.
He lost the championship.
And in the first one, he wasn't even the finals MVP.
D-Wade was the finals MVP.
He was the man.
He was the lead MVP.
I'm talking about Steph Curry was the lead MVP
and he had already won the ship before KD got there.
He humbled himself and he won two in a row.
He didn't have to lose no more.
The only time they lost was when everybody got hurt
and you know it.
And if them Bulldogs was healthy,
they'd have destroyed that Toronto team.
Everybody knows that.
He should have followed that mantra.
He should have.
D-Wade didn't do it.
He realized they lost.
He did it that next year and that's why they won.
And that's why they won two out of the next three years.
I'm not saying LeBron James is perfect.
Tiki, you already know.
I am not a LeBron James fan.
I'm a Kobe fan.
I'm a Lakers fan.
I'm wrong with you on that.
My top five are Lakers.
So I believe purple and gold.
But I am not going to just an all-time player.
I'm not gonna do it.
I don't care how many people try to put others down
just to elevate LeBron.
I'm still not gonna ignore the fact
how great LeBron has actually been in this league.
Now the reason why I wanted to mute James
because he was talking some of the most hardest stuff.
He really was.
Okay, let me ask you one question.
What was James saying that was a lie, bro?
Bro, listen.
Hold on, when LeBron went to, let me ask you a question.
That first year LeBron went to Miami, right?
Bro, I'm gonna ask you this.
When was he in the finals when it all counted, bro?
Cause that's all you ever talk to me about, elder.
Every time you come in, you always talk to me
about championship level basketball.
That's what we talk about, right?
So when that nigga had the bag
and this is why I agree with James, bro.
When that nigga went to Miami and talk all that ----
about how many chips they was gonna win, bro.
Bro, this is the problem, my nigga.
The problem is, when they got to the finals, bro,
and niggas was talking ---- to him,
he did not show up, bro.
That's role player ----.
That's what I'm saying, he's a role player.
I don't disagree with that.
I don't know all the internals that was going on,
but that's one out of nine series.
But then he lost, hold on, but he lost six.
He lost six, though, elder, whoops.
Did he not show up in all six of them that he lost in?
Bro, man, come on, elder, man, come on.
I'm just asking, did he not show up?
I mean, again, I said this in the chat room.
I would rather be three and six in the finals
than oh and one in the finals.
See, James, you asked me why James was talking crazy.
First, let me roll with this.
I'm gonna let you go, and I'm gonna let him,
hold on, hold on, hold on, when you say this,
hold on, elder, when you say this as a man,
you gotta let him respond as a man.
After you finish, go ahead, go ahead.
He's talking crazy when you talk about a guy
that is considered in the GOAT conversation
to a man that ain't even made the Hall of Fame yet
and saying that he's better than him
and I take him over and start my team.
That's not an opinion right there.
That's asinine.
He's also talking crazy
when he tries to say that LeBron
is literally one-dimensional.
When this man's a great rebounder,
he's a great passer, he's a great forward general,
he has great handles, he has incredible athleticism,
his game has developed, he's gotten a better jumper
as the years has gone on.
To say he's one-dimensional
and then put down one-dimensional players,
when you go back through all of these,
besides Jordan and besides the team Elijah won,
you tell me somebody that won the ship
that really the main player there wasn't one-dimensional.
Tim Duncan has one-dimensional.
Shaq, one-dimensional.
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, one-dimensional.
Are you serious?
These are not serious takes
from anybody that knows the game of basketball
and I got tired of listening to him tonight.
He may be your guy, he may be your boy,
I ain't got nothing personal against him,
but he wasn't cooking nothing but burnt grits tonight.
That ---- smelled up to Devil's retarded, retarded take.
That's why I gave you $100
because I didn't want to listen to it anymore.
Check this out, check this out.
Hold on, let me finish.
You calling him facts
because you and him feel the same way.
Wait, it's facts bro, no it's not.
Let me finish, let me finish.
Y'all hate these guys that pump up LeBron
and put everybody else down.
Now here's the key,
I'm actually in that same category with y'all.
I don't like those guys,
but even through all of that,
I'm not gonna let what they say
get to what facts are.
And facts are, LeBron James is an all-time great.
No matter if I like him as a player or not.
Let me-
Whew, man.
Like I said, man, this is,
hey man, I just want y'all to know
that this ether continues on
probably for another 40 minutes, man.
This is absolute ether,
but I just wanted you guys to hear
just the introduction to this ether.
And again, it's a formula for,
again, if you're a LeBron James fan,
you're gonna deal with this a lot.
And you're not gonna deal,
you're only dealing with this
not because you're a LeBron James fan.
You know, you have all these terms
for people who are LeBron James fans.
It's not because of that.
The primary reason why LeBron James fans
get all of this hate is because 90s fans
did not want to accept the fact
that LeBron James is on Jordan's heels
with regards to becoming the GOAT.
Now, has Jordan, has LeBron caught Jordan yet?
No, he still has some work to do.
And even LeBron James fans like CJ
will admit that he still has a lot of work to go.
Now you have some extreme LeBron James fans,
which are far and few and in between,
who will say he is the GOAT now.
Which again, if you want to make him your GOAT now,
that's perfectly fine.
But if we're talking realistically,
no, LeBron has not caught Jordan,
but he's still playing maybe for another five years.
And he has the potential to catch him
because of the level that he's playing at.
At his age, I think he's 36.
At his age, with his conditioning,
with his physicality, with his style of play,
he can continue on for another three to four years
of high level basketball.
We don't know what he can do in that time.
And if he's able to amass another two,
maybe three championships,
maybe we will really have to reevaluate
this argument of who the GOAT is.
And I think 90s fans and Jordan's fans understand that.
And this is the closest we've seen anybody
come to be thrown in Jordan.
And they sense it.
And the problem is that the man is still playing
and the man still has years in the tank.
It's not like this is LeBron James' farewell tour.
No, LeBron James has a lot of years.
So barring injury or anything unforeseen,
LeBron James does have a legitimate shot
of chasing down Jordan as the GOAT.
That's the unfortunate reality of it.
Again, I hate to admit it,
but that's the unfortunate reality of it.
And again, this is why I'm doing my series.
90s players are overrated.
No, I'm not trashing the greats of the 90s.
But what I'm doing in this series is I'm breaking down
how people try to bolster up players in the 90s
to make Jordan look like he was playing
against stronger competition.
The same way in this particular era,
they try to dumb down the level of competition
that can explain why LeBron is so great.
So people look at LeBron's finals record,
say three and six, he's a failure,
and then they'll capitalize on top of that statement
by saying, oh, and there's no defense in this era as well.
When in reality, in this particular era right now,
there's more dominant teams,
there's more dominant players.
Again, LeBron James has to deal with,
he has to face a lot more competition
and there are different varieties and levels
of competition that he has to deal with.
When you look at Kawhi Leonard,
when we look at the Golden State Warriors and Steph Curry,
when we look at Kevin Durant and players like that,
he's having to deal with firepower coming from all angles,
as opposed to when Jordan was in the East,
there was nobody in the East that could contend
with the Bulls.
There was really nobody in the West
that could contend with the Bulls.
He had no, nobody was on that level
to even compete with the Bulls.
Even though a lot of these teams
had from top to bottom, better rosters.
You know, when we look at that Houston team,
when we look at the Blazer team,
when we look at the Phoenix Suns team,
these are all teams that have better rosters
than what Michael Jordan had on the Bulls.
So again, a lot of people will try to use that to say,
oh, the nineties were so great
and Jordan was able to dominate.
I say it was vice versa.
I think that we are propping up some of these guys too high
and they just weren't as good as what we thought they were.
And that's just, again, that's just my take on it.
But again, make sure you guys tune in for part five,
the finale of my series.
Nineties basketball was overrated.
Part five of the miniseries is going to be a show.
